Solution:
1). Total number of students playing cricket = 38 + 40 + 12 + 17 + 25 + 18 + 20 = 170
Required percentage = (25 / 170) × 100 = 14.706 = 15
Answer:  d)

2). Required ratio = 27 : 18 = 3 : 2
Answer: d)

3). For calculating the most popular game we have to add students playing different games of all the classes.
By looking at the table-cricket, football and badminton seems to be very popular. No. of students playing chess is definitely less than those playing cricket. Same is true for basketball. Table tennis carom, and tennis
Badminton and football may be somewhat near to cricket
No of students playing cricket = 38 + 40 + 12 + 17 + 25 + 18 + 20 = 170
No of students playing football = 40 + 27 + 18 + 19 + 12 + 16 + 14 = 146
No of students playing badminton = 47 + 39 + 33 + 21 + 19 = 159
Thus, cricket is the most popular game
