Solution:

1). SaleA = 170000 × (29 / 100) × (8 / 17) = 23200
Salea = 170000 × (18 / 100) × (7 / 18) = 11900
Salec = 170000× (14 / 100) × (4 / 7) = 13600
Total sale = 23200 + 11900 + 13600 = 48700

2). Difference = 170000 × (13 / 100) × (8 – 5) / 13
= 1700 × 3 = 5100

3). Ratio = [170000 × (16 / 100) × (9 / 16)]  / [170000 × (10 / 100) × (3 / 5)]
= 9 / 6 = 3 / 2

4). Ddiesel  = 17000 × (13 / 100) × (8 / 13) = 13600
Total no.of cars sold by F = 170000 × (10 / 100) = 17000
∴ Reqd% = (13600 / 17000) × 100 = 1360 / 17 = 80%

5). DifferenceA  = 170000 × (29 / 100) × (1 / 17) = 2900
DifferenceB = 170000 × (18 / 100) × (4 / 18) = 6800
DifferenceC = 170000 × (16 / 100) × (3 - 4) / 16 = -3400
DifferenceD = 170000 × (13 / 100) × (3 / 13) = 5100
DifferenceE = 170000 × (16 / 100) × (7 - 9) / 16 = -3400
DifferenceF = 170000 × (10 / 100) × 1 / 5 = 3400
Difference = 2900 + 6800 – 3400 + 5100 – 3400 + 3400 = 11400

6). B2013  = 19000 × (27 / 100) × (11 / 19) = 2970
A2014  = 23000 × (24 / 100) × (5 / 12) = 2300
Difference  = 2970 – 2300 = 670

7). Reqd ratio = [19000 × (20 / 100) × (3 / 5)] / [23000 × (8 / 100) × (3 / 4)]
= (190 × 12) / (230 × 6) = 38 / 23 = 38 : 23

8). Ffemale = 19000 × (21 / 100) × (8 / 21) = 1520
Etotal  = 19000 × (8 / 100) = 1520
Reqd % = (1520 / 1520) × 100 = 100%

9). Bfemale = 23000 × (15 / 100) × (11 / 23) = 1650
Emale = 19000 × (8 / 100) × (5 / 8) = 950
Reqd % = [(1650 – 950) / 950 ] × 100 = 73.68%

10). Avg = 23000 / (6 × 100) [ 24 × (7 / 12) + 15 × (11 / 23) + 23 × (8 / 23) + 17 × (9 / 17) + 8 × (3 / 4) + 13 × (8 / 13) ]
= 230 / 6 [ 14 + (165 / 23) + 8 + 9 + 6 + 8]
= 230 / 6[45 + (165 / 23)]
= (230 / 6) × (1200 / 23) = 2000
