Solutions :
1). Required ration = 5040/3360 = 15
2). Required increased = [ (5040-2520)/2520 ] × 100 = 100%
3).

It is clear, that percentage increase over previous year is highest for 1992-93

4).
Average foreign exchange reserves over the given period
=1/8 (2640+3720+2520+3360+3120+4320+5040+3120) million US \$
= 1/8 × 27840 = 3480
Required percentage = 4320/3480 × 100 = 124.14 = 125%
5).
Average reserve = 3480
Above the average reserve in 1992-93, 1996-97 and 1997-98 three years and rest is in below the average i.e below 3480 so, required ratio = 3:5
6). Required ratio = { total number of children from village O / Total number of children attending school from the same Village O}
= { [ (2040×200)/100] / [ 14500 × (20/100) ] }= 204 : 245
7). Number of children attending school from village N = 1450 × (12/100) = 174
8). Children not attending school villages M and N together = 2040 × (25 +10)% - 1450 × (32 + 12)%
= 2040 ×  35% -1450 × 44%
= 714 – 638 = 76
