Solution:
1). Number of triangles = (10×9×8)/6 = 120     
Answer: c)

3). Number of years = (5-1)/(3-1) × 3 = (4/2) × 3 = 6
Answer: b)

4).  CI= (15+200)/200 × 800 =215 x 4 = 860  
Answer: d)

5).  Let the number be X
     17X –X = 1264
     16X = 1264
 
     X= (1264/16) = 79   
Answer: d)

6).  Number = (LCM of 40, 56, 96) - 19
                   = 3360-19 = 3341              
Answer: e)

7).  Quantity   of   milk = (3 x4)/(5-2) = 12/3 = 4 litres

8).  The ratio of investment = Ratio of profit
                                           = 700:900:1100

on food he spent 24%= 24
Remaining 76
On cloth he spent 30% of 76 =22.8
So total spent = 46.8 and saving = 53.2
The actual saving = 5300
So spent on the cloth = 22.8 x 100= 2280
 X = (250 x5320) / 133 = 10000
On cloths = 57x / 250 = 57 x10 = 2280
