1).e  2).b  3).c  4).a  5).b  6).b  7).e  8).d  9).c  10).e

Solution:
1). There is maximum gap between 2011 and 2013 for state F. And maximum percentage increase is also for state F.

2). Required less % = 105 – 70 / 105 = 33 1/3 %

3). Avg. production = 80 + 60 + 20 + 50 + 50 + 80 + 80 / 7 = 60 million tonnes

4). Required more % = (45 + 75 – 55 + 25) / (55 + 25) × 100 = 50%

5). Given data shows that B state shows a continuous decrease in the production of rice over the years.

6). Total sales in 2001 and 2004 = 10 + 25 = 35 lakh tonnes
Total production in 2001 and 2004 = 12.5 + 27.5 = 40 lakh tonnes
Required percentage = 35 / 40 × 100 = 87.5%

7). Percentage of sales to production
 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 80 93.33 90 90.9 87.5 95.24

8). Per cent increase in sales = (18 – 14) / 14 × 100 = 28.57%

9). Average production = 12.5 + 15 + 20 + 27.5 + 24 + 21 / 6 = 120 / 6 = 20 lakh tonnes
