Solution:
1). Quantity of Grapes at shop J = 1200 × 10 / 100 = 120 kg
Quantity of Grapes at shop K = 1000 × 16 / 100 = 160 kg
Required difference = 160 – 120 = 40 kg

2). Cost of Pomegranate at Shop J = 30 × 1200 × 24 / 100 = `8640
Cost of Pears =     40 × 1200 × 16 / 100 = `7680
Cost of Banana = 20 × 1200 × 20 / 100 = `4800
Required ratio = 8640:  7680: 4800
= 9 :  8 : 5

3). Quantity of Pomegranate at Shop K = 1000 × 24 / 100 = 240 kg
Quantity of Pomegranate at Shop J = 1200 × 24 / 100 = 288 kg
Required % = 288 × 100 / 240 = 120% of the quantity of Pomegranate at Shop A

4). Cost of total fruits at Shop J = Cost of Pomegranate + Cost of Pears + Cost of Grapes + Cost of Banana + Cost of Orange fruits
= (1200 × 24 / 100 × 30 +  1200 × 16 / 100 × 40 + 1200 × 10 / 100 × 18 + 1200 × 20 / 100 × 20 + 1200 × 30 / 100 × 15)
= 8640 + 7680 + 2160 + 4800 + 5400
= `28680
Cost of total fruits at Shop K
= (1000 × 24 / 100 × 30 + 1000 × 14 / 100 × 40 + 1000 × 16 / 100 × 18 + 1000 × 20 / 100 × 20 + 1000 × 26 / 100 × 15)
= 7200 + 5600 + 2880 + 4000 + 3900
= `23580
Required difference = 28680 – 23580 = `5100

5). Quantity of Banana at Shop J = 1200 × 20 / 100 = 240 kg
Quantity of Pears at Shop K = 1000 × 14 / 100 = 140 kg
Required % = (240 – 140) / 140 × 100 = 71.42% more than the quantity of Pears at Shop K.

6). Total number of students passed from college S and T together
= 1100 × (27 + 21) / 100 = 11 × 48 = 528

7). Total number of students appeared from college R = 1900 × 11 / 100 = 209
Total number of students passed form college R = 1100 × 13 / 100 = 143
Failed students = 209 – 143 = 66

8). Total number of students appeared from college R = 1900 × 11 / 100 = 209
Total number of students passed form college P = 1100 × 25 / 100 = 275
Required % = 209 / 275 × 100 = 76%

9). Total number of students passed form college Q = 1100 × 14 / 100 = 154
Total number of students appeared = 1900
Required% = 154 / 1900 × 100 = 8.1% = 8%

10). Total number of failed students from college P = 1900 × 22 / 100    -    1100 × 25 / 100
= 418 – 275 = 143
Total number of students passed from all colleges together
Required% = 143 / 1100 × 100 = 13%
