Solution:

 Language Male Female Total Tamil 8000 9600 17600 Oriya 6000 8400 14400 Bangla 3840 5760 9600 Hindi 3500 4500 8000 Telugu 3200 7200 10400 Urdu 1400 3400 4800 Malayalam 8550 6650 15200 Total 34490 45510 80000

1). 22 / 100 × 80000 = 17600
[18% of x = 14400
x = 80000]
male , female ratio in tamil = 5 : 6
(17600/11) × 5 =  8000

2). Required % = (10400 – 9600) / 9600 × 100 = 8.33%

3). Required % = 6000 / 6650 × 100 = 90%

4). Required % = (5760 – 3500) / 3500 ×   100 = 64.5%

5). Required % = 3400 / 45510 × 100 = 8%

6). Revenue collected by State P as Sales tax = 19% of 36000 cr = `6840 cr

7). Q’s revenue = 36000 × 6 / 5 = `43200
Difference = 43200 – 36000 = `7200

8). Let the total revenue be x.
Then, Land revenue = 27% of x
Decrease = 20 / 100 × 27% of x = 5.4% of x
Now, Others = 19% of x
It should be increased by   5.4%of x / 19%of x   ×   100 = 28.4%

9). Angle of sector = 26 / 100 × 360 = 93.6°

10). Required angle subtended by State P by Land revenue = 30 / 100 × 360° = 108°
