Solution:
1). Length of the carpet = [Total cost
                                                  Rate/ m] = [8100/45] m = 180 m.
Area of the room = Area of the carpet = [180 × 75/100]m^2 = 135m^2
So, breadth of the room = [Area / length] = [135/18] m = 7.5 m
Answer: b)

2). Required number
= HCF of (91 43), (183 91) and (183 43)
= HCF of 48, 92 and 140
= 4
Answer: a)

3). Let the total sale be Rs. x
Then, 2.5% of x = 12.50
[ 25/100 × 1/100 ×  x] = 125/10
x = [ 125/10 × 100 ×10 /25 ] = 500
Answer: b)

4). Total weight increased = (8 x 2.5) kg = 20 kg.
Weight of new person = (65 + 20) kg = 85 kg.
Answer: c)

5). Let the rate be R% p.a.
Then, [5000 × R × 2/100] + [3000 × R ×4/100] = 2200
100R + 120R = 2200
R = [2200/220] = 10
So, rate = 10%
Answer: d)

6). Productivity = Total Production / Area of agricultural land
Productivity of Sikkim = (35 + 30 + 25) × 1000 / 200000 × 30 / 100
= 90000 / 60000 = 1.5 tonnes per km sq
Productivity of Assam = (30 + 32.5 + 27.5) × 1000 / 200000 × 25 / 100
= 90000 / 50000 = 1.8 tonnes per km sq
Productivity of Jammu and Kashmir = (22.5 + 25 + 27.5) × 1000 / 200000 × 20 / 100
= 75000 / 40000 = 1.875 tonnes per km sq
Productivity of Himachal Pradesh = (22.5 + 15 + 10) × 1000 / 200000 × 5 / 100
= 47.5 × 1000 / 10000 = 4.75 tonnes per sq km
Productivity of Rajasthan = (25 + 35 + 30) × 1000 / 200000 × 8 / 100
= 90000 / 16000 = 5.625 tonnes per km sq
Productivity of Maharashtra = (40 + 30 + 35) × 1000 / 200000 × 12 / 100
= 1050000 / 24000 = 4.375 tonnes per km sq
Productivity of Rajasthan is the maximum
Answer: b)

7). Production of Maharashtra is maximum = 105000 tonnes
Answer: e)

8). Production of Grapes in Maharashtra = 40000 tonnes
Production of Orange in Himachal Pradesh = 10000 tonnes
Required% = 40000 – 10000 / 10000 × 100% = 300%
Answer: c)

9). The ratio of production of Mango in Jammu and Kashmir to the production of Grapes in Rajasthan
= 25000 tonnes : 25000 tonnes  = 1 : 1
Answer: d)

10). Income of Assam from export of 40% of Mango at the rate of 30 per kg
= 32500 × 40 / 100 × 1000 × 30 = 39 crore
Income of Sikkim from export of 30% of Mango at the rate of 32 per kg
= 30000 × 30 / 100 × 1000 × 32 = 28.8 crore
Required ratio = 39 : 28.8 = 390 : 288
= 65 : 48.

Answer: a)
