Solution:
Directions (Q. 1-5):
x + y + k = 485 – 189 = 296       ... (i)
x + z + k = 437      – 112 = 325 ... (ii)
y + z + k = 350      – 135 = 215 ... (iii)
x + y + z + k = 800 – (189 + 112 + 135) = 364... (iv)
Solving all four equations, we get
x = 149, y = 39, z = 68 and k = 108

1).

2). Required % = 68 / 800 × 100 = 8.5%

3). 39

4). Required % = (189 + 112 + 135) / 800 × 100
= 436 / 8 = 54.5%

5). Students who are playing at least two games = x + y + z
= 149 + 39 + 68 = 256

6). The series is ×6 - 4; ×5 - 5; ×4 - 6; ×3 - 7; ×2 - 8, ...

7). The series is +(1 × 2 × 3); +(2 × 3 × 4); + (3 × 4 × 5); + (4 × 5 × 6) ... and so on. Hence correct answer would be 131.

8). The series is ×1+13 ; × 2 + 23 ; ×3+ 33 ; ×4 + 43 ,...
