Detailed Solutions:
Questions (01 to 05):
The data given can be summarized using the table below.

Initially
Value
After Exchange
Value
P
2 Chess boards, 1 Record Player
2 × 500 + 2000 = 3000
Cycle + Chessboard
1000 + 500 = 1500
Q
3 Cricket Bats
3 × 700 = 2100
Cricket bat + Record Player
700 + 2000 = 2700
R
Cycle + Walkman
1000 + 700 = 1700
Camera + Cricket bat + chessboard + Walkman
1500 + 700 + 500 + 700 = 3400
S
2 Cameras
2 × 1500 = 3000
Camera + Cricket bat
1500 + 700 = 2200

1). From the table, P did not have a cricket bat after exchange.
2). Cost = 3000 + 2100 + 1700 + 3000 = 9800.
3). Only P has cycle
4). P lost Rs. 1500, S 800. Q and R gained.
So P lost the most.
5). Q had one record player and one cricket bat.

Cost = 308 × 5 + 17 × 216 = 5212

10). 2009 Expenditure = 70 × 120 = 8400
2012 Expenditure = 34 × 260 + 36 × 200 = 16040
