Solution:
Directions (Q. 1-5):
Speed of Pulsar on 1st day
= 832/16 = 52 kmph
Speed of Pulsar on 2nd day
= 864/16 = 54 kmph
Speed of Splendor on 1 st day
= 516/12 = 43 kmph
Speed of Splendor on 2nd day
= 774/18 = 43 kmph
Speed of Discover on 1st day
= 693/11 = 63 kmph
Speed of Discover on 2nd day
= 810/18 = 45 kmph
Speed of CBZ on 1st day
= 552/12 = 46 kmph
Speed of CBZ on 2nd day
= 765/15 = 51 kmph
Speed of Karizma on 1st day
= 935/17 = 55 kmph
Speed of Karizma on 2nd day
= 546/14 = 39 kmph
Speed of Fazer on 1st day
= 703/19 = 37 kmph
Speed of Fazer on 2nd day
= 636/12 = 53 kmph

1). Speed of A on 1st day = 52 kmph
Speed of C on 1st day = 63 kmph
Difference = 63 - 52 = 11 kmph
Answer: c)

2). The speed of Splendor on both the days is 43 kmph
Answer: d)

3). Required Ratio= Speed of CBZ on day 2/Speed of Karizma and on day 2
= 51/39 = 17/13= 17:13
Answer: b)

4). Speed of Discover on 2nd day = 45 kmph
= 45 × 5/18 = 2.5 × 5 = 12.5m/s
Answer: e)

5). Required % = 636/703 × 100 = 90.46 = 90%
Answer: e)

6). The series is ×2+1, ×2+3, ×2+5, ×2+7, ...
? = 11 × 2 + 3 = 25
Answer: d)

7). The series is
×1 + 12 , ×2 + 22 , ×3 + 32 , ×4 + 42 , ...
? = 6 ×2 + 22 = 16
Answer: b)

8). The series is ×3+1, ×3+2, ×3+4, ×3+8, ...
 ? = 100 × 3 + 8 = 308
Answer: c)

9). The series is ×1–2, ×2–2, ×3–2, ×4–2, ...
 ? = 4 × 3 – 2 = 10
Answer: e)

10). The series is based on increasing previous number by 4 and 2 alternately.
ie +7, +11, +13, +17
 ? = 21 + 13 = 34
Answer: a)
