b) S, Q, T, O, U, E
c) U, T, Q, S, E, O
d) T, O, S, U, E, Q
e) Q, E, T, O, U, S

Directions (Q. 11-15): Rearrange the following six sentences A, B, C, D, E and F in a proper sequence to from a meaningful paragraph. Then answer the questions given below.
(A) This traditional sector is the most globalised and fast globalizing.
(B) It is unable to use the interest subsidy given to it to modernize
(C) The budget has ignored three fronts.
(D) Textile is not to be regarded as a revenue yielding, but as an employment an export intensive industry.
(E) It has to face full-blown global competition from 2004.
(F) The subsidy is lapsing because an industry in losses cannot avail of it.
11). Which of the following should be the SECOND statement after rearrangement?
12). Which of the following should be the SIXTH statement after rearrangement?
13). Which of the following should be the FOURTH statement after rearrangement?
14). Which of the following should be the THIRD statement after rearrangement?
15). Which of the following should be the FIRST statement after rearrangement?
1)a 2)b 3)c 4)b 5)a 6)e 7)b 8)e 9)d 10)c 11)a 12)b 13)b 14)d 15)a
4). b) Let the average marks obtained by the boys and the girls be 3x and 4x respectively
As we know that,
Sum of the given entities = Average of given entities × No of entities
So the total marks obtained by the boys = 80 × 3x = 240x
The total marks obtained by the girls = 70 × 4x = 280x
So the total marks obtained by the class = 240x + 280x = 520x
It is given that the average marks obtained by the class is 78.
78 = 520x/150 => x = (78 × 150)/520 = 22.5
Hence average marks obtained by the girls = 4x = 90
Work done by B and C together in one day = (1/9 + 1/12) = 7/36 units
Hence work done by B and C in 3 days = 3 × (7/36) = 7/12 units
Remaining work = 1 – 7/12 = 5/12 units
Now 1/24 units work is done by A in one day
So, for 5/12 units of work, A will take = (5/12) ÷ (1/24) = 24 × 5/12 = 10 days
I ≥ T is definitely not true. Other expressions may or may not be true.
S > Q ≤ T = O < U > E. Thus U > Q
F = C is definitely false. Other expressions may or may not be true.
