IBPS PO/Clerk Exam 2016 – Section wise Full Test-38:
Dear Readers, IBPS PO/Clerk 2016 was approaching, for that we have given the Section wise Full Test which consist of all the three sections such as, Aptitude, Reasoning, and English. This Section wise Full Test will be provided on daily basis kindly make use of it.
Directions (1 – 5): Each problem contains a question and two statements giving certain data. You have to select the correct answer depending on the sufficiency of the data given in the statements to answer the question.

A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at four corners of the square while four sit in the middle of each of the four sides. The ones who sit at the four corners face the centre while those who sit in the middle of the sides face outside.

Let S1 and T1 be the speed and time taken to travel from Vijayawada to Hyderabad respectively. And let S2 and T2 be the speed and time taken to travel from Hyderabad to Bangalore respectively.
Average speed = (S1T1 + S2T2)/(T1+T2) = 40kmph
(A) S2 x T2 = 0.31 S1 x T1 and (B) S2 = 2(S1 x S2) = ?
Combining A and B we can get S2
P1 is non-increasing => constant or decreasing hence nothing can be said about the price of the product P1 after five years.
Hence, using both the statements also we cannot determine which product will be costilier.
From (B), T = 240 + 48 = 288 minutes.
From (A), we don’t know if it is on the same day
The given equation is x4 = xy or x3 = y
So (A) is sufficient to answer the question.
From (A) x2 = y2 and B = 2x2 => √B = x√2
Since x is an integer, B is not an integer. So (A) alone is sufficient.
From (B) x2 + y2 = k2
So B = k2 which is an integer. So (B) alone is also sufficient.
