IBPS RRB CWE-V Recruitment Notification 2016 – Frequently Asked Doubts:
Dear Readers, IBPS has released the notification of RRBs (RRBs- CWE-V) for the recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II& III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) for the Participating Organizations is tentatively scheduled tentatively in November and December 2016. Here we have given the list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the Recruitment Notification.
1). Dear IBPS Guide team, I belong to General category. Will you please guide me about my Qualification details for both Officer Scale – I and Assistant posts?
Dear, ForGeneral Category Officer Scale – I eligibility criteria is
Aged between 18 and 30 with Degree, Local Language Proficiency and Basic Computer Skills
ForAssistant Post Eligibility Criteria is
Aged between 18 and 28 with Degree, Local Language Proficiency and Basic Computer Skills
2). Is there will be an option to toggle between sections in between the exam?
In the notification it is mentioned aCOMPOSITE TIME for both prelims and mains with this we can clearly say that there will be an option to toggle between sections in-between the exam.
3). What could be the cut-off score for both Assistant and Officer Scale – I.
For Assistant – the cut-off depends on the vacancies available in each state, candidates will be shortlisted for provisional allotment.
For Officers Scale – I – depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability.
4). In this particular notification how many RRB’s were participating?
As per the notification, total of 56 RRB’s were participating in recruitment of RRBs- CWE-V
5). What is the eligibility for attending the PRE-EXAMINATION TRAINING (PET) conducted by RRB’s?
It is proposed to impart Pre-Examination Training to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities for the Post of Officer Scale-I at some centres.
6). Is there any chance to pay the prescribed fee in OFFLINE MODE?
No. Candidates can make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges (Rs.600 for Gen and Rs. Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD) through the ONLINE mode only
7). What are the major changes that were observed in this notification?
The Major changes were NO ENGLISH SECTION IN PRELIMS and one more thing is there is an option to choose ENGLISH or HINDI for the Language Test.
8). How many vacancies are there for both the posts separately?
9). Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes. Every one need to be qualify in each section for both prelims and mains exam and also need to get the overall cut-off as decided by the conducting organisations depending on the candidates performance.
10). Is there any restriction on selecting the region of examination?
No. One can select any of the regions, but you should beproficient in that region’s regional language and you might have to undergo a language proficiency test in selection procedure.
