     A completes 6/7-th of the given task in 12 days.
    Time taken by X to complete the work
    = (12 x 7) / 6 = 14 days
    Time taken by Y =  14 / 1.5 days
    Y’s 1 day’s work = 1.5/14
    Y’s 6 day’s work = (6 × 1.5)/14 = 9/14
    Remaining work =1 – (9/14) = 5/14

    Let Q invested the sum for x months.
    Ratio of profits of P and Q = Ratio of investments of P and Q
     6 :5 = (3600 x 12) : (4000 x x)
    6 :5 =54:5x
    6/5 = 54 /5x
