Solution:

1. Let the total number of mangoes = x
Then, 6% of x=54
=> (6 / 100) ร— x = 54
=> x = (54 / 6) ร— 100 = 900
Hence, total number of mangoes = 900

2. Let the total number of students in the school = x
Then, 25% of x = 310
=> (25 / 100) ร— x = 310
=> x = [(310ร—100) / 25] = 1240
:. Number of boys = 1240-310 = 930

3. Let the total number of children = x
Then, (720 / x) = 20% of x = (20 / 100) ร— x = (x / 5)
=> xยฒ = 720 ร— 5 = 3600
=> x = 60
Thus, number of sweets each child received = (720 / 60) = 12

4. Let the salary of Rajesh be Rs. x
Then, (3 / 5) of (16% of x) = 4320
=> (3 / 5) ร— (16 / 100) ร— x = 4320
=> x = [(4320 ร— 100 ร— 5) / (16 ร— 3)] = 45000
Hence, the salary of Rajesh is Rs. 45000.

5. Let the salary of Deepa be Rs. x
Then, 80% f 8% of x = 2240
=> (80 / 100) ร— (8 / 100) ร— x = 2240
=> x = [(2240 ร— 100 ร— 100) / (80 ร— 8)] = 35000
Hence, the salary of Deepa = Rs. 35000

6. Let the maximum marks be x.
Then, 36% of x = 150 + 30 = 180
=> (36 / 100) ร— x = 180
=> x = [(180 ร— 100) / 36] = 500

7. Number of girls in a college = 2000 ร— (36 / 100) = 720
Then, boys = 2000 โ€“ 720 = 1280
Each girlโ€™s monthly fees = 480 ร— (75 / 100) = Rs. 360
Hence, total amount of fees both boys and girls
=(1280 ร—4 80 + 720 ร— 360)
= Rs. 873600

8. Let the total marks of the exam be x
Then, x ร— (54 / 100) = 456 – 24
= x ร— (54 / 100) = 432
X = [(432 ร— 100) / 54] = 800
Minimum passing marks
= 800 ร— (34 / 100) = 272
Hence, required more marks get by Raman = 456 โ€“ 272 = 184

9. Let the total number of students=x
Then, (100 – 90)% of x = 240
=> (10 / 100) ร— x = 240
=> x = [(240 ร— 100) / 10] = 2400

10. Number of sweets each student gets
= 15% of 60 = (15 / 100) ร— 60 = 9
Hence, the total number of sweets = 60 ร— 9 = 540
