Directions (Q. 1 – 5):

The pattern is, ÷ 2, ÷ 3, ÷ 4, ÷ 5…

The pattern is, +(1*22), +(2*22), +(3*22), +(4*22),..

The pattern is, *8 – 7, *7 – 6, *6 – 5, *5 – 4….

The difference of difference is, ×2

The pattern is, *1 + 12, *2 + 22, *3 + 32, *4 + 42,..

Directions (Q. 6 – 10):

782 × 6840 ÷ 57 % of 600 = 56 × 456 ÷ 3 +? + 5100

782*(6840/[(57/100)*600]) = 56*(456/3) + x + 5100

782*(6840/342) = 8512 + x + 5100

15640 – 8512 – 5100 = x

2028 = x

(45/100)*750 + (x/100)*400 – (70/100)*1220 = 8193

337.5 + 4x – 854 = 8193

4x = 8193 – 337.5 + 854

4x = 8709.5

X = 2177.375

(2/7)*3192 *(375/15) – x = (639/3) + 157

22800 –x = 213 + 157

X = 22800 – 213 – 157

X = 22430

(65/100)*785 + (38/100)*550 = x – 3025

510.25 + 209 + 3025 = x

X = 3744.25

(4 + 3 + 7 -1 – 2) (5/6 + ½ + ¾ -1/3 – 2/3) = x

X = 11 [(10 + 6 + 9 – 4 – 8)/12]

X = 11(13/12)

X = 12(1/12)

Let the no of men be x,

Work = men*days

Here work is equal. So,

56*x = (x + 6)*48

56x = 48x + 288

8x = 288

X = 36

Let the cost price be x

According to question

102.25x – 92x= 164

10.25x= 164

Cost Price of the article = 164/10.25*100= 1600

Profit = 1760-1600= Rs 160

Profit %= (160/1600)*100= 10%

Let the present age of Ragu be x

Present age of Ragu’s father= 5x

Now 5 yrs ago

Ragu’s father’s age= 9 * Ravi’s age

= > 5x-5=9(x-5)

= > x= 10

Ragu’s Father’s age = 5*10= 50 years.

Milk in the mixture= 200*7/10= 140 liters

Water in the mixture= 200-140= 60 liters

Let the amount of milk be added be x

(140+x)/60= 13/5

700+ 5x= 780

5x= 80

x= 16 liters

Let the sum be x and the rate of interest be r%

So,

[x*6*(r+5)]/100 – [x*6*r]/100= 90

[6xr+ 30x]/100 – 6xr/100= 90

6xr/100 + 30x/100 – 6xr/100= 90

30x/100= 90

x= 90*100/30

Sum (x) = Rs. 300

= > 18 + 33 + 54 = 105

The below poverty line population of State A, B and C together

= > 60*(25/100) + 45*(40/100) + 36*(50/100)

= > 15 + 18 + 18 = 51

Required % = (105/51)*100 = 205.88 % = 206 %

The male population of State A, C and E together

= > 60*(7/12) + 36*(3/4) + 72*(1/2)

= > 35 + 27 + 36 = 98

The female population of State B, D and E together

= > 45*(4/9) + 50*(3/5) + 72*(1/2)

= > 20 + 30 + 36 = 86

Required difference = 98 – 86 = 12 lakhs

Total male population in State D and E together

= > 50*(2/5) + 72*(1/2)

= > 20 + 36 = 56

Total female population of State A and B together

= > 60*(5/12) + 45*(4/9)

= > 25 + 20 = 45

Required % = [(56 – 45)/45]*100 = (11/45)*100 = 24.44 % = 24 %
