The UPSC upsc.gov.in has published an updated notification for application of Civil Services exam 2019 under EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category. The aspirants under EWS category who are interested can apply with their EWS Certificate which is mandatory to have.
There was an important notification released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which states that there would be 10% quota for EWS (Economically Weaker sections) in the upcoming Civil services exam 2019 in its official website.
Exam dates Notification:
The Application process has already been started and the last date to submit the application is March 18, 2019.
The Civil services 2019 Prelims exam will be conducted on 2 June 2019 and Mains exam on September 20, 2019. The Mains exam is conducted for five days.
The Online Admit card will be issued three weeks before the exam date. There is no option of getting the admit card by post.
Education: The candidate should have completed graduation or equivalent degree from recognized university.

- The Maximum age: 32 years as on August 1, 2019.

- During the application process through online candidate need to upload Photo ID proof for future reference.
Candidates need to pay 100 Rs. either by Master/ Visa/ Debit card, money remittance or by Net banking of SBI. The SC/ST category candidates, Female, and person with benchmark disability are exempted by paying any fees.
The pattern of Exam:
The CSE (Civil Service Exam) 2019 Prelims exam consists of 2 sections of Objective type questions which will be of Max. 400 marks. The Mains exam will be of written exam followed by personal Interview. The written exam pattern will be of essay type, which is of 9 different papers, each with its essay topic.

The aspirant needs to go through three phases of selection process i.e. Prelims, Mains and Interview. Only those candidates who clear Prelims exam will be eligible to write Mains exam.
The candidates who have cleared Prelims exam, names will be displayed on the result page. Further, the candidates who have cleared Mains exam with qualifying marks will be called for the personal interview process.
According to the ranks of the candidates, they will be allotted to different services depending upon their examination ranks and according to candidate’s preference for various posts and services.
The maximum number of attempts for the exam:
There are no limited attempts for SC/St candidates.
For other categories, every candidate appearing for the exam will be having a maximum of six attempts to clear the CSE examination.
