    3).Prabhat Kumar Singh appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of thePetronet LNG Ltd.
    ·        Previously he was the Director of Marketing at state gas utilityGAIL India Ltd.
    ·        Before joining GAIL he was the head of Upstream Business Development and Strategy Divisions inBritish Gas (India)
    ·        He succeededA. K. Balyan as the MD and CEO of Petronet
    ·        Mr. Singh is an Engineering graduate from theIndian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur
    ·        He has more than 35 years of experience inhydrocarbon industry

    5).Mount Aso, the largest volcano of Japan erupted on 14thSeptember 2015
    o  The volcano situated on main southern island ofKyushu
    o  The eruption blasted a plume of black smoke2kmhigh and the ashes from the volcano fell up to4km away
    o  The1592-metre Mount Aso is one of the most active peaks in Japan but is also a popular hiking spot
    o  There have been reports of no causalities or damage from the volcano’s eruption
    o  Since 2014 the volcanic activity in Japan has intensified, especially after the eruption of theMount Ontake in central Japan

    6). Indian wrestlerNarsingh Pancham Yadav qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games by winning the bronze medal in the Men’s 74kg Freestyle category at theWorld Wrestling Championship held at Las Vegas, US

    ·        This is the 1sttime a Indian wrestler to secure a place in the 2016 Olympics
    ·        Narsingh lost toUnurbat Purevjav (Mongolia) in the semi finals thus winning the bronze medal
