    1). Swadesh Darshan and PRASAD Schemes launched to promote travel and tourism:
    ·        Ministry of Tourism has launched two schemes Swadesh Darshanand National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD)to promote the travel and tourism in the country.The Low Budget Domestic Tourism scheme is aimed to grow the travel and tourism industry in the country.
    Features of the Schemes:
    ·        Swadesh Darshan for Integrated Development of Tourist Circuits around Specific Themes such as religion, culture, ethnicity, niche, etc..
    ·        National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) to beautify and improve the amenities and infrastructure at pilgrimage centres of all faiths.

    2). Syed Akbaruddin has appointed as the India’s next and Permanent Representative to UN
    ·        IFS officer,Mr. Syed Akbaruddin, currently serving as anAdditional Secretary in Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has appointed as the India’s next and permanentrepresentative to UN by replacingAsoke Kumar Mukerji.

    3). India’s first AMRIT outlet was inaugurated at AIIMS in New Delhi:
    ·        Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda launched the country’s first Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment (AMRIT) outlet at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
    ·        This has aimed at lowering treatment cost of cancer and cardio-vascular diseases and drugs will be sold at highly discounted rates.

    4). Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2015 will be hosted at Manila, Philippines:
    ·        Philippines host theAsia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit on 18th and 19th November 2015, for second time and had previously hosted it in 1996. This summit will be hosted at the
    ·        Theme of 2015 APEC Summit: “Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World”.
    Key Features of the APEC Summit 2015:
    ·        The Cebu Action Plan for financial integration: Aims to protect the APEC member countries from financial crises.
    ·        Boracay Action Agenda: It is meant to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to access the regional and global market.

    5). Jharkhand Government has Introduced ‘Mobile Governance’:
    ·        Raghubar Das, Chief Minister of Jharkhand has introduced theMobile Governance in the state to implement the dreams ofDigital Indiaduring the occasion of16th Foundation Day of the state.
    ·        14 mobile applications and three web portals were launched during the the State Foundation Day and it will deliver the benefits of information technology to the people of the state in order to bridge the gap between the government and public.
    ·        To facilitate quick clearance for industries, the state has introduced ‘Advantage Jharkhand Portal‘, the country’s first single window portal.

    6). CarTrade has acquired CarWale for Rs 790 crore:
    ·        Online automobile classifieds firmCarTrade is in the final round of discussions to acquire rivalCarWale Group for about$120 million, or approximatelyRs 790 crore.

    7). Nico Roseberg wins 2015 Brazilian Grand Prix title of F1:
    ·        Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg (Germany) has won the2015 Brazilian Grand Prix title of Formula One (F1) held at Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Socorro district of Sao Paulo.
    ·        It was Rosberg’s overallthirteenth championshiptitle of F1 in his career and thefifth win in the 2015 season after Spain, Monaco, Australian and Mexican Grand Prix.

    8). Saina Nehwal wins silver medal at 2015 China Open in the Women’s Singles category:
    ·        Final match was played at the Haixia Olympic Sports Centre in Fuzhou, againstXuerui Li from China. Saina lost it with the score of 12-21, 15-21.

    ·        Men’s Singles category: won by Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia.
    ·        Men’s Doubles category: won by South Korea pair of Kim Gi-jung and Kim Sa Rang.
    ·        Women’s Doubles category: won by Chinese pair of Tang Yuanting and Yu Yang.
    ·        Mixed Doubles category: won by Chinese pair of Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei.

    9). Saeed Jaffrey, veteran Indian Bollywood actor has passed away at his age of 86due to age-related ailments.
    ·        His famous Bollywood outings include “Chashme Buddoor”, “Masoom”, “Kissi Se Na Kehna”, “Mandi”, “Mashaal” “Ram Teri Ganga Maili”, “Ram Lakhan”, “Ajooba” and “Henna” among many others.

    10). Famous Children’s books author Kamala Laxman passes away at her 88.
