    1) Johor Hockey Cup: India lose on penalties to Great Britain in Final
    ·        TheIndian Junior men’s Hockey team endedrunner-up in theSultan of Johor cupafter losing penalty shootout of 3-4 to Great Britain
    ·        The teams were level 2-2 in regulation time

    ·        Powerful Typhoon koppu has hit the northernPhilippines with speed of240kph, where it flattened homes and brought down bridges and trees
    ·        Forecasters warned that the storm could last up to 3 days and it is considered as the strongest land falling of tropical cyclone in past five years

    5) Sun’s coronal hole evident in NASA’s images
    ·        Solar Dynamics Observatory confirmed a coronal hole at the topmost layer of the sun.
    ·        The hole called thecoronel or dark spot has the size 50 times that of the Earth and its magnetic field is releasing an ultrafast solar wind that is harmless to humans of earth

    ·        Permitted to transfer blood from one bank to another blood bank in case of shortage
