    4).Rajasthan Government signed 295 MoUs during the Resurgent Partnership Summit 2015

    b)   Petroleum – Rs. 77657 crore
    c)   Infrastructure – Rs. 17038 crore
    d)   Manufacture – Rs. 11760 crore
    e)   Roads and Highways – Rs. 10000 crore
    f)    Tourism – Rs. 5783 crore
    g)   Medical and Health – Rs. 4752 crore
    h)   Agriculture – Rs. 2402 crore
    i)    Education – Rs. 1807 crore
    ·        The following are the companies that are going to invest in the state
    a)   Adani Group
    b)   Aditya Birla Group – cement sector
    c)   Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group – solar sector

    5).China’s The People’s Liberation Army Navy conducted several naval drills in disputed South China Sea (SCS)

    ·        SASEC Programme – to promote regional prosperity through improved cross-border links in trade, power, road and rail links between India and Bangladesh
    ·        The inter-connectivity link connects the power grids at the following locations

    8).Russia signed 2 agreements with Egypt to finance its 1st nuclear power plant at Dabaa
    ·        Location of plant –Dabaa on theMediterranean coast in the northwest Egypt
    ·        Russia will grant a35-year loan to the Egypt
    ·        Dabaa Nuclear plant –third-generation plant with4 reactors with total capacity of1,200 MW
    9).US passed bill to restrict entry of Syrian and Iraqi refugees
    ·        US House of Representatives voted to barSyrian andIraqirefugees from entering the United States over the security concerns
    ·        The bill was voted by289 in favour to137 against it
    ·        It is considered as a major setback for theBarack Obama’sadministration as the US President
