    1). World Tourisim day observed on 27-sep-2015:
    ·        WorldTourism Day was observed across the world on27 September 2015. The theme of the World Tourism Day 2015 isOne Billion Tourists, One Billion Opportunities.

    The theme is about to rise the  awareness of its impact on countries and communities around the world. It also force’s for good and creating a better world for all. 

    Burkina Faso, west Africa will host the Official Celebration 2015.

    ·        The first World Tourism Day was celebrated in 1980 after decision made by theUnited  Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO)General Assembly in 1979.
    2).Lewis Hamilton won 2015 formula 1 Japanese Grand prix title:
    ·        Lewis Hamilton of Britain on27 September 2015 won the2015 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix title. Thefinal race was held at thesuzuka circuit in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
    ·        It was the3rd victory in Japan having won the titles in 2007 and 2014
    ·        It was also theeighthtitle in the2015 season for Hamilton as he won the titles inAustralia,China,Bahrain,Canada, theUK,Belgium andItaly prior to this victory.
    ·        Nico Rosberg of Germany stoodsecond
    ·        Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) finishedthird.
    ·        Nico Hulkenberg (Germany)-4thplace
    ·        Sergio Perez (Mexico) of Force – 5th
    ·        India stood at the 6th and 12th positions respectively.

    3).Conference on contemporary relevance of Bhagvad Gita held in United Kingdom:

    ·        Thefirstconference on the contemporary relevance of theBhagvad Gita was held on25 September 2015 in London, United Kingdom. The conference was organised byIndian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) and High Commission of India.

    ·        It was organized in collaboration with the Department of the Study of Religions at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. 

    Aim of  The conference is to deal with the innumerable questions that exercise and confound through Bhagvad Gita and help to tap unique transformational energy. 

    The initiative of bringing together the delegation for theLondon conference was led by Suryakanthi Tripathi, former Indian ambassador to Spain.

    4). China successfully launched carrier rocket Long March-11:

    ·        China on 25 September 2015 successfully launched a new model of carrier rocketthe Long March-11from theJiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the north-western province ofGansu.
    ·        The rocket carried four micro-satellites into space, which will be used mainly for testing.
    ·        This solid propellant rocket wasdevelopedby theChinaAcademyofLaunchVehicleTechnology with the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.
    ·        Therocket will mainly beused for launchingmicrosatellites.

    The Long March 11 launch isthe 211th of China’s Long March series,

    ·        The launch of Long March-11 was China’s eighth launch in 2015
    ·        About Long March
    ·        China launched itsfirst satellite known as Dong Fang Hong 1(the East is Red”), into Earth orbit on its Long March space rocketon April 24, 1970, becoming the fifth nation to achieve independent launch capability.
    5). G-4 countries issue Joint Statement on UNSC Reforms:
    ·        G-4 countries -Brazil, Germany, India and Japanhave issued a Joint Statement onUnited Nations Security Council Reforms (UNSC).
    ·        G-4 meeting held inNew York,US which was headed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
    ·        G-4 leaders in meeting emphasized more  on theglobal conflicts and crises in recent years,maintenance of international peace and security.

    6). Pankaj Advani won 2015 IBSF world Billiards Championship:
    ·        Pankaj Advani has won2015 IBSF World Billiards Championship  inAdelaide, Australia. It was his overall14th World title.
    ·        He won by defeatingPeter Gilchrist of Singapore by 1168 points.
    ·        Achievements
    ·        Pankaj Advani is14-time World Billiards and Snooker Champion. He is only player in the world to win world titles in all formats of both, Billiards and Snooker.

    Padma Shri (2009).

    7). Former  England fast bowler Frank Tyson Died:

    ·        Former England cricketerFrank Tyson diedon 27 September 2015 in Australia. He was 85 years old. Nicknamed Typhoon. He was born on 6 June 1930 in Farnworth, Lancashire.
    ·        He was also declared as a Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World in 1955  After the match won against Australia.
    ·        Tyson emigrated to Australia in 1960.           
    8). Manipur governor Syed Ahmed died:
    ·        Governor of Manipur, Syed Ahmed, on 27 September 2015 passed away in Mumbai due to cancer.
    ·        He joined the Indian National Congress (INC) in 1977, and was sworn in as the16th governor of Manipur on 16 May 2015.
    ·        Syed Ahmed also served as the 8th Governor of Jharkhand from 4 September 2011 to 15 May 2015.
    ·        He was electedfive times to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly as a representative of the Nagpada constituency in Mumbai.
    He has also written an autobiography, Pagdandi se Shahar Tak.
