    ·        Objective– To provide tribal artisans an important platform to showcase their talents through their valuable products to urban India
    ·        The mela will showcase the followingitems for sale
    a)   Hand crafted items
    b)   Handloom products
    c)   Cane and bamboo products
    d)   Dry flowers
    e)   Tribal jewellery
    f)    Dhokra craft
    g)   Tribal paintings
    h)   Tribal weaves and embroidery
    ·        More than90 tribal artisans from all over the country will showcase their unique and exquisite tribal artifacts
    ·        They will also be able to sell their traditional art and craft works directly to the customers and get their valuable feedback

    ·        It is the15th of the20 vessels being constructed byKochi Ship Yard under the of Aadesh-Class
    ·        It will also be having a secondary role of providing communication link and escort coastal convoys in the times of war and hostilities
    ·        The following are thefunctions of ICGS Arinjay
    a)   It will be used for Anti-smuggling and anti-piracy activities and also for search and rescue operation
    b)   Fisheries protection and monitoring activities
    c)   To increase the protection level of India’sExclusive Economic Zone(EEZ)
    ·        The ship will be based atOkha post after commissioning
    3).Indiasigned2MoUs withIndonesia to strengthen the ties between the two countries

    o  New and Renewable Energy sector – To reduce carbon emissions by2030 by35% (India) and29% (Indoesia)
    o  Cultural Exchange programme for 3 years from 2015 to 2018
    o  These MoUs were inked in the presence of the following dignitaries after their bilateral talks inJakarta
