    1). India and Germany inked loan agreements for Green Energy Projects
    ·        Government of India and Federal Public of Germany (KFW) signed 2 loan agreements, for Himachal Pradesh (Euro 57 Million) and Andhra Pradesh (Euro 68 million) forGreen Energy Projects
    ·        Green Energy projects, intra- state network will develop and deploy the new and renewable energy for supplementing the energy requirements of the country.

    2). INS Astradharini commissioned Indian Navy
    ·        INS Astradharini, Torpedo launch and Recovery vessel wascommissionedatthe Naval Base Visakhapatnam. Vice Admiral Satish Soni , Flag Officer Commanding , Eastern Naval command, CD Malleshwar- Director NSTL, Sahay Raj –CMD of M/s Shoft Shipyard Pvt ltd were also  present at  commissioning ceremony.
    ·        It was a collaborative effort of NSTL (Naval science and technology), a naval system laboratory of DRDO, M/s Shoft Shipyard Pvt ltd and IIT Kharagpur.
    ·        Length of 50m, speed up to 15 Knots and has large deck area with Torpedo launcher and has Modern power generation and distribution, navigation and communication systems.
    ·        It is an advance replacement of Astravahini which was decommissioned on 17thJuly 2015

    3). IMF: India to grow at 7.5 %, faster than China
    ·        A data released by World Economic Outlook andIMF (International Monetary Fund) said that Indian economy is expected to grow faster than other major emerging countries , projecting growth rate of7.5%for Indiain 2016 againstChina’s 6.3%
    ·        This will benefit from recent policy reforms, consequent pickup in investment and lower commodity prices.

    4).Rajnath Singh inaugurates National conference on Anti Human Trafficking
    ·        Union HomeMinister Rajnath Singh inaugurates National conference on Anti Human Trafficking in New Delhi, which was organized by Ministry of Home Affairs along with nodal officer for anti human trafficking and officers from various districts who were in anti human trafficking units.
    ·        Government carried out a campaign titled“Operation Smile” and “Operation Muskaan”torescue missing children and reunite them with their families and 19,000 missing children were rescued during these two operations

    5). S V Bhokare takes over as Eastern fleet commander
    ·        Rear Admiral A B Singh handed over theEastern Fleet commander to rearAdmiral S V Bhokare
    ·        S V Bhokare is a specialist in Navigation and Aircraft Direction and has been awarded the Yudh Seva Medal and the Nao Sena Medal and commanded submarines Sindhughosh, Sindhudhwaj, Sindhushastra, Indian Naval Ship Beas and INS Vajrabahu.
    ·        Eastern fleet comprises 30 warships, which includes destroyers, stealth frigates, and amphibious ships, anti submarine warfare corvette, Missile corvettes, offshore patrol vessels, missile boats and tankers.

    8). Sagarmala Project – Government to spend Rs. 70,000crores on 12 major ports

    9). Pacific Rim countries agree on free trade
    ·        U Sand 11 other Pacific Rim countries have reached a deal onTrans-Pacific partnership (Tpp) free trade agreement after a week of final talks in Atlanta.
    ·        The 12 countries areSingapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam, Japan, Canada, United States, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand
    ·        The TPP , would be the world’s biggest trade agreement in the past two decades , will lower trade and investment barriers in the 12 partner countries in the Asia Pacific region and set new rules for the global trading system
    ·        China world’s second largest economy has not been the part of the agreement

    10). Nobel Prize 2015 for chemistry: Lindahl, Modrich and Sanchar win for DNA research
    ·        Three scientist,Tomas Lindahl- Sweden, Paul Modrich – the US and Aziz Sancar- Turkeyreceived an prestigiousNobel Prize forchemistryand equal share of8 million ($969,000)
    ·        Their research explained how the cell repair it’s DNA in order to prevent errors occurring in genetic information
    ·        The prize was announced by Goran K Hansson, the secretary general of the Royal Swedish Academy of sciences in Stockholm

    18). RBI relaxes norms for FPI investment in government debt
    ·        Reserve bank of India relaxed norms ofForgien Portfolio Investors (FPI)of governmet debt and also increased its limit in Rupees
    ·        For 2015-16, RBI enchanced the limit for investment of FPIs in two tranches from 12-OCT-2015 and 1-JAN-2016
    ·        From12-OCT-2015, the limit will be increased from 1.53 lakh crores to1.7 lakh crores rupees
    ·        From1-JAN-2016, it will be1.86lakh rupees
