Fintech major PhonePe signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to provide an end-to-end digital solution through the Udyam Assist Platform (UAP).<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to formalise Informal Micro Enterprises (IMEs) by enabling seamless digital-first Udyam Assist registration, helping them access government schemes, credit facilities, and the digital payments ecosystem.<\/p>\n

PhonePe Business app will soon provide digital Udyam Assist registration services.<\/p>\n

Pending CEO of PhonePe, Hemant Gala, said the tie-up will unlock access to credit facilities and MSME schemes for merchants.<\/p>\n

Udyam Assist Platform (UAP) was launched in January 2023 by SIDBI under the Ministry of MSME\u2019s Formalisation Project.<\/p>\n
