Just before the inauguration, four Sukhoi jets from Bareilly and four Mirage 2000s from Gwalior landed upon the air strip built on the expressway. The Lucknow-Agra Expressway is India’s longest expressway, with a length of 302-km.

Explanation: India successfully test-fired its indigenously built nuclear capable Agni-I ballistic missile from a test range off Odisha coast, as part of a user trial by Army. The surface-to-surface missile can hit a target 700 km away. It was test-fired from a mobile launcher from the Integrated Test Range at Abdul Kalam Island, Wheeler Island. The missile has already been inducted into the Army.
