Explanation: : The longest elevated cycleway in the world recently opened for a month-long trial period in the Chinese city of Xiamen. The cycleway, which is over eight kilometres long, can carry over 2,000 cyclists in an hour. The bike path, which reportedly took less than a year from planning to completion, covers five major residential areas and features 11 entrances.
