    1.
    India and Sri Lanka was conducting aJoint Military Exercise name as“MITRA SHAKTI 2015” which was begun at the Aundh Military Station located at Pune, Maharashtra. This is thethird edition of the military exercise between the both countries.
    2.
    Reliance Defence has signed a MoU with theEmirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC) to boost the partnership the India and UAE and to manufacture the defense equipments/platforms, commercial and Naval Ships.
    3.
    Union Government has approved the implementation ofthe Integrated Air Command& Control Systems (IACCS), project of the Indian Air Force (IAF) for which the Indian Government has allocated the amount ofRs. 8,000 crore.
    4.
    Cabinet Committee of Security (CCS) has approved the deal to purchase Military Helicopters fromUnited States aviation giant Boeing. After signing this deal, India is yet to purchase 22 Apache Attack Helicopters and 15 Chinook Heavy-Lift Choppers from the Boeing.

    Indian Coast Guard, has commissioned two new ships namely,Apoorva (Fast Patrol Vessel) andC-421 (Interceptor Boat).

    On 13th October 2015,India,US andJapan  navies started the2015 Malabar Naval Exercise of the eastern coast inBay of Bengal andIndian Ocean as a part of the annual series of exercises conducted to advance multi-national maritime relationships and mutual security issues between the countries
