    Indian Based Company,Kalyani Group has signed a Joint Venture with Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense System. This is the first JV that comes under the New FDI limits in Defense sector. Chairman and MD of Kalyani Group Mr. Baba Kalyani announced that 51% of share will be with Kalyani Group and 49% to Rafael Advanced Defense System.

    Indian Navy has conducted the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief(HADR) exercise at Lakshadweep Island.
    ‘Amogh’ is thehigh speed patrolling ship which was acquired by the Indian Coast guard. This patrolling ship has the maximum speed capacity up to 63km.
    Indian Air Force has signed a contract of Rs. 1090 crores withHindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to purchase 14 Dornier-228 Aircraft. 
    Pakistan has successfully tested its indigenously developed Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM)Ra’ad.
