    Lok Sabha has passed theNegotiable Instruments (Amendment) Bill, 2015 that amends the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 that makes the Cheque-bounce filing cases more convenient for cheque Payees (Person who receives the cheque).

    Union Government has given its approval for theBenami Transactions (Prohibition) Amendment Bill, 2015. This bill amends the Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act 1988.

    Lok Sabha has passed theUndisclosed Foreign Income and Assents (Imposition of Tax) Bill, 2015 on 11th May. This bill deals with the menace of black money and to replace the Income Tax Act, 1961 for the taxation of foreign income.
