    1).On 5th April 2015, a3-party MoU was signed betweenUnion Ministry of Textiles,Maharashtra government and theNational Textile Corporation (NTC)
    ·        This MoU was for the transfer of land for construction ofDr. Babasaheb Ambedkar memorialin Mumbai
    ·        It will facilitate the transfer of land of NTC to the state government as persection 11 of theTextile Undertakings Nationalisation Act 1995
    ·        It will enable the construction of memorial on the12 acre land adjacent to theChaityabhoomiin theIndu Mills Compund which belongs to the National Textiles Corporation(NTC)
    ·        The MoU was signed in the presence of the following dignitaries in New Delhi
    a)   Prime Minister –Narendra Modi
    b)   Maharastra Chief Minister –Devendra Fadnavis
    c)  Union Textile Minister –Santosh Gangwar

    2).On 18th April 2015, a MoU was signed betweenRail Vikas Nigam Limited(RVNL) andDighi Port Limited
    ·        It facilitates the construction of34 km of railway link betweenRoha andDighi Port inRaigad district of Maharashtra
    ·        The total cost of the project is estimated asRs. 723 crores
    ·        This MoU was signed in the presence of the following dignitaries in Mumbai
    a) Union Railway Minister –Suresh Prabhu

    b)   Maharashtra Chief Minister –Devendra Fadnavis
    3). Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation(MIDC)signed a MoU with the state-runSmall Industries Development Bank of India(SIDBI)
    ·        This MoU provides easy finance tomicro, small and medium enterprises(MSME)for their growth
    ·        Both the signing parties jointly created funds to a sum of200 crore rupees to provide immediate finance to the MSMSs
    ·        The MoU was signed in the presence of Maharashtra CMDevendra Fadanvisin Nashik by the following personalities
    a)   MD and CEO of SIDBI –Ananta P Sahrma
    b) MIDC CEO –Bhushan Gagrani

    4). Telengana government signed a MoU withGoogle Inc to build biggest campus outside US in Hyderabad
    ·        On completionGoogle’s Hyderabad campus will be world’s2nd best and Asia’s1stbiggest campus
    ·        It will be set up atRs. 1000 crore and is expected to be completed by2020
    ·        It will have2 million square feet working space and will employ around13,000 technologists
    ·        The MoU was signed by Telengana Secretary of ITJayesh Ranjan and Google’s Global Head of Facilities and WorkplaceDavid Redcliffe

    5). Telengana Government signed a MoU withInternational Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics(ICRISAT)to provide IT-based information for farmers
    ·        It seeks to provideInformation and Communication Technology(ICT) based knowledge sharing platforms and other agricultural innovation to farmers in order to improve their productivity
    ·        Enables the state government to create new economic opportunities through digital agriculture
    ·        The MoU was signed by
    a)   ICRISAT Director General –David Bergvinson
    b) Secretary and Agriculture-Production Commissioner –C. Parthasarathi
    c)   Secretary IT, Electronics& Communications of Telengana Government –Jayesh Ranjan

    6). Andhra Pradesh Government signed a MoU withNSL Mining Resources India Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary of Australia’sNSL Consolidated Ltd.
    ·        The Australian firm will help in the process of separating the required mineral from extracted ore in order to remove unusable part of low-graded iron ore
    ·        This MoU was signed foriron ore mining projects inKurnool andKadapa
    ·        The MoU was inked by Andhra PradeshMining Development CorporationandNSL Mining Resources India Pvt. Ltd.

    7). Andhra Pradesh signed a MoU with theIISL Company to replace the existing streetlights in13municipalities withLED lights in the state
    ·        IISL will replace and maintain LED streetlights in the13municipalities for7 years
    ·        By this installation of LED streetlights state government can reduce the power consumption by50%
    ·        This MoU was signed by the following dignitaries in the new capitalAmaravati
    a) Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development– P. Narayana
    b)   IISL’s representatives

    8). Tamil Nadu Government signed a MoU withAdani Group to set up650 MW solar power plantinRamanathapuram district
    ·        Adani Group will set up5 solar power units at a cost ofRs. 4536 crores
    ·        70%of the investment will be throughinternal accruals while the remaining investment will be from institutional investors and debt
    ·        The project is expected to be operational byFebruary or March 2016
    ·        The entire power produced by the project will be purchased byTamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd. (Tangedco)at a cost ofRs. 7.01 per unit for the next25 years

    9).Gujarat’sVadodara district and China’sXinjinag province signed a MoU for the development of thetwin cities
    ·        This MoU enables infrastructure growth and development between the two regions
    ·        It will increase the mutual cooperation between the two regions in the following fields
    a)   Economy
    b)   Technology
    c)   Science
    d)   Culture
    ·        The MoU was signed between the following bodies in Mumbai
    a) Vadodara Municipal Corporation
    b)   Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjinag Uygur Autonomous Region
    ·        TheMayor of Vadodara andGovernorof Changji stateMa Xiongcheng were present when the MoU was signed

    10). Maharashtra Government signed a MoU with the Taiwan basedFoxconn to set up its manufacturing facility in the state
    ·        Foxconn will invest5 billion dollars over the next5 years in Maharashtra
    ·        State will provide the company with1500 acres of land for setting up to plant
    ·        Foxconn facility in Maharashtra will focus onResearch& Development(R&D) and manufacturing
    ·        It will create provide employment to over50,000 people in the state

    11). Tata Trust signed a MoU with theAndhra Pradesh Government to develop264villages
    ·        264 villages in theVijayawada district will be developed in order to transform them into smart villages
    ·        This project is jointly undertaken by Lok Sabha MPKesineni Srinivasand the Tata Trust as part ofCorporate Social Responsibility(CSR) of Tata Group
    ·        Its1st of its kind projects undertaken by Tata Trust in the country to develop all villages of a single Parliamentary constituency
    ·        Around2.5 lakhs households in all villages of this constituency will benefit from this project
