Managing Core Branch Functions

A candidate chosen as an SBI CBO will be primarily responsible for managing the core branch operations of the branch to which they are placed. These can include things like opening and canceling accounts, issuing chequebooks, etc.

 

Monitoring or Overseeing the bank operations

The SBI CBO is also in charge of directing the banking activities in the branch once posting is completed. These can include monetary inflows and outflows, closing fixed deposits, investing in mutual funds, purchasing life insurance, issuing debit/credit cards, etc.
