Direction (1-5): Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below.

Following are the conditions for selection System manager in an organization.
The candidate must
i)    Be a graduate engineer in IT, Computer Science or Electronics with atleast 60% marks
ii)   Be atleast 30yr and not more than 40yr as on 1st September, 2009.
iii) Have secured atleast 40% marks in the written examination.
iv) Have secured atleast 50% mark in the selection interview
v)  Have post qualification work experience of atleast 10yr in the system department of an organization.
In the case of candidate who satisfied all the conditions except
a)  At (i) above but has secured atleast 60% mark in MEIT or Computer Science, the case in to be referred to DGM systems
b)  At (v) above but has post qualification experience of atleast five years as deputy systems manager, the case is to be referred to the GM systems
In each questions below, details of one candidate are given. You have to Take one of the following courses of action bases on the information provided and the conditions and sub conditions gives above and mark the number of that course of action as your answer. You are not to assume anything other than the information provided for each candidate. All these cases are given to you as on 1st September. 2009.

1).Samir Ghosh was born on 25th may. 1978. He secured 65% marks in BELT in the year 1999. Since, then he has been working in the systems department of an organization. He has secured 50% marks in both written examination and selection interview.

2).Navin Prakash has secured 62% marks in BE Computer Science. He has been working in the systems department of an organization since July 1999, after completion of BE. He was born on 4th April, 1974. He has secured 55% marks in selection interview and 45% marks in the written examination.

3).Neeta Pathak has been working as deputy systems manager in an organization for the past 7 yr after completing her BE in IT with 70% marks. She has secured 45% marks in selection interview and 55% mark in the written examination. She was born on 12th November, 1978.

4).Ashok Malhotra was born on 19th March, 1977. He has secured 56% marks in both selection interview and written examination. He has secured 58% marks in BEIT and 72% marks in MEIT. He has been working in the systems department of an organization for the past 11yr after completing MEIT.

5).Gemma D’ Souza was born on 15th December, 1972. She has secured 60% marks in both written examination and selection interview. She has been working as deputy systems manager for the last 6yr in an organization after competing her BE Electronics with 75% marks.

Directions(Q. Nos.6-12):study the following information carefully and answer the questions which follow.

 A bank is disbursing educational loans to meritorious students. Loans will be made available to applicants who possess the following criteria.
The candidate must
i)    Be a citizen of India.
ii)   Have secured admission to a post-graduate course(master’s or PG diploma) offered by an Indian or foreign university in India.
iii) Have secured 60% marks in the entrance examination for the course.
iv) Have security (Property/ LIC policy) equivalent to the loan amount.
However, if the applicant fulfils the above mentioned criteria except
a)  at (ii) above, the case may be referred to the loan committee.
b)  at (iv) above, guarantee of a third party who has an account with the bank may be obtained.

7).Milind has applied and secured admission for a post-graduate degree in advertising at MIC University, Ahmedabad. He has an LIC policy equivalent to the loan amount. He secured 70% in his graduation and is an Indian citizen.

8).Prakash has applied for a post-graduate course in IT and animation which will commence from January in Kolkata. He has secured admission to the course having obtained 60% in the written entrance test. His uncle, who has an account with the bank, is willing to stand guarantor.

9).Anil is an Indian Science graduate who has secured admission for a master’s degree in Computer Science from a prestigious Indian University. He stood first in the entrance test with 82% marks. He family is willing to use their house, which is equivalent in value to the loan amount, as security. He will stay with his uncle in Dubai during the course.

10).Nikhil’s part time PG diploma in management will begin in December. He secured 65% in the all India entrance exam and has secured admission to a college in Mumbai. He has requested a transfer for the duration of the course. He has an LIC policy equivalent to the loan am% ount. Nikhil holds an Indian passport.

11).Maria secured 75% in the entrance exam to NVT college, pune and has obtained admission. An Indian national, she has the necessary property to offer as security for the loan amount. The duration of her undergraduate degree course in Computer Applications is 3 yr.

12).Deepa obtained 70% in her engineering entrance exam for her master’s and has secured admission to the college of her choice. She has an LIC policy equivalent in value to the loan amount.
