Answers :

Directions (1-5) :

The number of yellow balls in A = 5x

Number of blue balls in B = 5x * 120/100 = 6x

Total number of balls in A = 180

Number of yellow balls in B = 340/900 * 180 = 68

Total number of blue balls in A and B = 150/100 * 68 = 102

Number of red balls in A = 6x + 18

Number of blue balls in A = 180 – (5x + 6x + 18) = 162 – 11x

6x + 162 – 11x = 102

x = 12

Number of red balls in A = 6 * 12 + 18 = 90

Number of blue balls in A = 162 – 11 * 12 = 30

Number of yellow balls in A = 5 * 12 = 60

Number of blue balls in B = 6 * 12 = 72

Number of yellow balls in B = 68

Total number of red balls in A and B = 13/18 * 180 = 130

Number of red balls in B = 130 – 90 = 40
