State Bank of India announced recruitment notification of 2000 vacancies for Probationary Officer post. SBI organizes common examination for various posts to fill up with the prominent candidates for mutual benefit of SBI and people. Recently State Bank of India announced various PO Post. SBI will conduct prelims exam on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. The selection will be through various processes. The qualified candidates will be placed on various SBI branches across India.

Undoubtedly white collar job in SBI will be a reputed job offer for selected candidates. State Bank of India is the largest banking network in India. Selected candidates will get awesome pay with good allowances too. In initial days after engagement in a role, the candidate will receive Rs.23,700/ and yearly increment of Rs. 980/-. Then after the completion of  3 years, salary will increases to Rs. 30,560/-. Like the same way, it will be increasing to Rs. 32,850/- followed by Rs. 42,020/- after another 4 years.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

One of the most notable things is eligibility criteria. SBI announced certain eligibility norms for the applicants who wish to apply for SBI PO posts. Only the candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply

SBI Age Limit to apply PO Exam 2018 (as on 30th August 2018):

The applicant age between of 21 to 30 years will be considered as eligible to apply for SBI PO exam.

  • Minimum Age – 21 years
  • Maximum Age – 30 years

SBI Age Relaxation:

The SBI authorities have given certain age relaxation for the applicant. Age Relaxation is common from the recruiting bodies. Now it will be applicable for SBI PO Exam as per the Govt. norms.

SBI PO Age Relaxation according to the categories are as follows:

  • OBC (Non – Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • SC/ST & Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
  • PWD (General): 10 years
  • PWD (OBC): 13 years
  • PWD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Commissioned Officers with 5 years’ service completed & released and Jammu & Kashmir domiciled during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989

SBI PO Educational Qualification (as on 1st April 2018):

Graduation degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification will be acceptable to apply for SBI PO 2018.

SBI PO Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure

Screening of candidates for the post of SBI PO 2018 for PO exam need to clear 3 selection phases, which are:

  1. Prelims Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Interview

SBI Prelims Exam – Phase I

  • SBI preliminary exam will be an online based objective type test.
  • Sectional Timinghas been implemented for the Preliminary Examination.
  • No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed.
  • An Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. Subjected to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.
  • 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answers.

  2. Fee payment is done only through online mode by using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets, etc.
