International Civil Aviation Day 2022 is observed on the 7th of December 2022.

The International Civil Aviation Day 2022 theme set by the UN this year is “Advancing Innovation for Global Aviation Development”.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialist organization within the United Nations, established December 7 as the day to celebrate the impact that civil aviation has had on the world.

Tourism and business have both been changed forever due to flying, not to mention the cultural connections that have been enabled.

The first International Civil Aviation Day was held in 1994 as part of ICAO’s 50th anniversary and in 1996 the United Nations General Assembly officially recognized 7 December as International Civil Aviation Day.

This MoU marks a significant step towards Mission Shakti’s vision of making Odisha a land of equal opportunities, where women are empowered to live with dignity and economic prosperity.

Under this three-year MoU, ISB & Mission Shakti will collaborate to build a prosperous and sustainable forest economy in Odisha through women-led community enterprises, starting with the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabrangpur, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj, and Kendujhar.

Maharashtra, which accounts for around 20% of India’s pharmaceutical output, plans to set up a bulk drug park in Raigad district at an initial investment of ₹2,442 crores.

This is to boost manufacturing of raw materials for medicines in the country and reduce dependency on imports.

The Indian Drugs Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) has received a proposal from D.R. Gahane, joint commissioner of the Maharashtra food and drug administration.
