IBPS PO Interview Documents Required to be Scanned and Uploaded
Before appearing for the interview, candidates are required to upload the scanned copies of the requisite documents as mentioned below from 10.12.2025, till one day before their interview date.
(a) Proof of Date of Birth [SSLC/Std, X/Certificate with DOB or Birth Certificate issued by Competent Authorities].
(b) Provisional Certificate OR Marksheets for each semester/year OR Consolidated Marks sheet OR Final Degree Certificate regarding Graduation & Post Graduation (if applicable for the post) OR Equivalent qualification.
The date of passing the examination, which is reckoned for eligibility, will be the date of passing appearing on the original marksheet/provisional certificate/final certificate. No other document shall be accepted as valid for reckoning the eligibility date for the prescribed educational qualification.

Certificates in support of the candidate’s Category & Sub-category as under,

For SC/ST/OBC (NCL) Category: Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL) category candidates.
- For the OBC category: Candidates belonging to the OBC category but coming under the creamy layer, and/or if their caste does not find a place in the Central List, are not entitled to OBC reservation. Such candidates, if applied under the OBC category, will not be allowed to appear for the interview. The candidate should possess a valid OBC certificate with a Non-creamy layer clause as per the Government of India guidelines, from time to time. OBC category candidates should submit the OBC certificate in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India containing the ‘non-creamy layer’ clause, issued on or after 01,04,2025 till the date of interview.
- For EWS: EWS candidates are required to produce an ‘Income and Asset Certificate’ issued by any one of the competent authorities as notified by the Government of India in the prescribed format. The EWS certificate should be valid for the year 2025-26 for the (financial year 2024-25).
- For Persons With Benchmark Disabilities Category: Medical certificate issued by the Competent Authority (proforma available on the official IBPS website).
- For Persons with Specified Disability Category (below 40%): Medical certificate (Appendix-1) issued by the competent Medical Authority of a Govt. Healthcare Institution as per OM-F, No, 29-6/2019-DD-III dated 10,08,2022.
- For Ex-servicemen Category: Service or Discharge Book along with Pension Payment Order with full service particulars. In case of working defence personnel, Service Certificate from Competent Authority stating that they will be relieved from defence services on or before close 20.07.2026.
- If candidates are already / previously employed: Certificates in support of post-qualification work experience.
- Work experience certificate (Hard copy/Digitally signed copy/Received from a valid email ID – subject to verification), duly specifying the date of joining, whether confirmed in the services, salary drawn, nature of work handled, date of relieving and reasons for relieving etc,, from present/previous employer, if any;

The following documents should be brought in ORIGINAL at the interview venue:
a. Print out the respective candidates Call Letter for the Interview.
b. Printout of the online application submitted to IBPS for CRP PO/MT-XV.
c. Valid recent Photo Identify Proof (such as PAN card / Passport / Permanent Driving Licence / Voter’s Card with Photograph / Bank Passbook with Photograph / Photo ID proof issued by Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead / ID Card issued by a recognized College or University / Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar Card with a photograph/Employee ID / Bar Council Identity Card with Photograph) in original as well as a photocopy.

d. No Objection Certificate from the present employer in case of candidates presently working in Government/Quasi Govt. offices/Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions).

IBPS PO Interview 2025 – Important Information
The important information about the IBPS PO interview is listed below.
- It is reiterated that no candidate shall be allowed to appear for the interview based on an undertaking instead of identity proof or documents mentioned above.
- Candidature of the candidate, if allowed to appear at the interview based on an undertaking instead of identity proof or documents mentioned, shall be summarily rejected without citing any reason.
- Biometric data (right thumb impression or otherwise) and photograph captured at the time of online main examination will be verified at the interview venue, Decision of the Biometric data verification authority concerning its status (matched or mismatched) shall be final and binding upon the candidates, Refusal to participate in the process of biometric data verification on any occasion may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- With regards to the same, please note the following:
(a) If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured…etc), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that the coating is completely removed before the interview day.
(b) If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash and dry them before the fingerprint (biometric) is verified.
(c) Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them.
(d) If the primary finger (right thumb) to be verified is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the interview centre.
(Any failure to observe these points will result in non-admittance for the interview.)
- The candidates are advised to possess/acquire a valid Aadhaar Card for the CRP process. IBPS/Participating Banks would also conduct online Aadhaar verification of the candidates/scribes at different stages of the selection process.
- Candidates will have to appear for Interview at their own expenses, Only eligible out station SC/ST / Persons With Benchmark Disabilities category candidates called for interview will be paid Second Class to & fro train/bus fare or actual expenses incurred, whichever is less from normal place of residence to the place of interview by shortest route, on production of proof of travel.
- Please note that the above facilities will not be admissible to the SC/ST/Persons With Benchmark Disabilities category candidates who are already in service in Central / State Government, Public Undertakings /Local self-Government, Institutions and Panchayats, etc.
- Candidates who do not produce relevant certificates mentioned above shall neither be permitted to appear for the Interview, nor shall they be paid any travelling expenses.
- Any subsequent representation claiming Travelling Allowance shall not be entertained.
