OPSC ASO Exam Pattern 2022:

Odisha Public Service Commission ASO Exam Pattern 2022 consists of two stages  i.e.

Stage 1: OPSC ASO Written Examination

Stage I of the OPSC ASO Exam Pattern was the written examination. This stage was divided into 3 exams i.e. Paper I, Paper-II, Paper-III, which tested the knowledge of candidates across topics of general awareness, reasoning, mental ability, mathematics, English, and Odisha languages. Stage 2: OPSC ASO Skill Test in Computer Applications

This is the second and final stage in the Exam Pattern of the OPSC ASO recruitment. In this stage, candidates would be tested on their knowledge of computer applications. This stage was qualifying in nature and one had to secure 40% of the total marks in the skill test to qualify it.

  • The Exam Will be Objective Type.
  • The Exam Will be 400 Marks/ Questions.
  • For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted from the marks awarded for correct answers.
  • The candidates shall answer the questions in English except for Odisha’s language paper or otherwise specified in the question paper itself.
  • Except for the Skill Test in Computer Application (Practical), the questions in all other subjects shall be of Multiple-Choice Type and all questions will carry equal marks i.e., 01
  • Only those candidates who have been shortlisted after the written test shall be called for Skill Test in Computer by the Commission which shall be of qualifying nature.

OPSC ASO Syllabus 2022: Important Points

  • Candidates had to answer the questions in English except for the Odia language paper or otherwise specified in the question paper itself.
  • There was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked.
  • Only those students who qualified for the written examination will be called for the Skill Test in Computer by the commission which would be qualifying in nature.
  • Candidates who qualified for the written examination would be called for the certificate verification prior to the Skill Test.
