Answers:

1). Answer:  a.

Area of trapezium = Sum of length of parallel sides/2 x Height (H)

200 = ( 15 +25) /2  ×H

H = 200 x 2 /35= 10cm.

2). Answer: c.

Total runs scored by 5 players = (49 × 5) = 245

Total runs scored by 4 players = (75 + 30 + 62 + 21) = 188

Total runs did the 5th player had scored = (245 – 188) = 57.

3). Answer: d.

Let total investment = x

Investment by A= x/ 5

Investment by B =x/ 2

Investment by C =x- (x/5 +x/2) =3x /10

Ratio of invest of A, B and C= x/5: x/2: 3x/10 = 2 :5: 3

Ratio of profit of A, B and C = 2: 5: 3

4). Answer:  a.

x * y = (x + 3)2 (y – 1)

Sum of square of first n natural numbers= n (n+1)2n+1)/6

Average of Sum of square of first n natural numbers= n (n+1)2n+1)/6n

=19(19+1) (2×19+1)/(6×19)

=20×39/6 =130

Let Income of A= x, Income of B= 2x

X+2x= 4500

X=1500

Income of B= 2x=2×1500=3000

9). Answer:  b.

10% of SP=330

SP=3300

CP=3300/11×10=3000

Profit= 3300-3000=300
