SSC JE Eligibility Criteria

According to the Commission candidates filling their Online Application form must full-fill some basic criteria, which is dependent on the following factors:-

  1. Nationality/Citizenship
  2. Age Limit
  3. Educational Qualification

SSC JE Eligibility – Nationality

A candidate applying for SSC JE  must be either:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
  3. a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
  4. a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India
