Answers:

Direction (1-5)

B is 22 years old and A is 2nd to the right of B. So B is facing north direction. Two persons are sitting between A and C.

Case 1:

C B (north) A
22

Case 2:

B(north) A C
22

H is 2nd to the left of D. H is neighbor of B. D is 15 years old. So D is facing south.

In case 1:

C B (north) H A D (south)
22 15

But from this H is 2nd to the right of D so case 1 gets rejected.

In case 2:

We get two cases, H is either immediate left or right of B.

Case 2A:

If H is immediate left of B-

D(south) H B(north) A C
15 22

But from this total persons will be 9 so that case also gets rejected.

Case 2B:

If H is immediate right of B-

D(south) B(north) H A C
15 22

Now either D or C is at the end.

IF D is at the end:

D(south) B(north) H A C
15 22

H is facing south direction. More than two persons are sitting between E and G in this case that not possible so this case gets rejected.

IF C is at the end:

D(south) B(north) H(south) A C
15 22

More than two persons are sitting between E and G. More than one person is sitting between B and E. So G must be immediate right of D.

G D(south) B(north) H(south) A C
15 22

The one who is 26 years old is 2nd to the right of F. As H is facing south so H’s age must be multiple of 5 so A must be 26 years old and F is neighbor of C. Then E is exactly between A and F. E is 8 years elder to A so E is (26+8) = 34 years old and facing north.

The one who is 46 years old is 2nd to the right of the one who is 34 years old. So C is 46 years old and facing north. F is 9 years elder to C so F is 55 years old and facing south.

G is 10 years younger to F so G is 45 years old and facing south.

H is elder to B but younger to A as H is facing south so H’s age must be multiple of 5 and between 22 to 26 so H is 25 years old.

Here is the final arrangement:

G(south) D(south) B(north) H(south) A(north) E(north) F(south) C(north)
45 15 22 25 26 34 55 46

  1. Answer: A

F is the eldest in the group.

Hence, option A.

  1. Answer: C
Two persons are sitting between B and E.

Hence, option C.

  1. Answer: D

All the persons are facing south except C.

Hence, option D.

  1. Answer: B

H is 3rd to the right of F.

Hence, option B.

  1. Answer: C

C and G are at the ends.

Hence, option C.

Direction (6-10)

B=1, C=2, D=3, F=4, G=5, H=6, J=7, K=8
L=1, M=2, N=3, P=4, Q=5, R=6, S=7, T=8
V=1, W=2, X=3, Y=4, Z=5

  1. Answer: B

From condition III,

signature→7i539846#

Hence, option B.

  1. Answer: A

From condition IV,

orange→prbngf→461354

hence, option A.

  1. Answer: E

From condition II,

aspiration→8+7+4+8+6+8+8+8+8+3=68

hence, option E.

  1. Answer: C

From condition IV,

alive→bljvf→11714

So, “1” is repeats more than once.

Hence, option C.

  1. Answer: C

From condition I,

darker→%arke%→%a68e%

hence, option C.
