Antonyms: aid, cure, praise.

Usage: she tried to bolster her bruised pride

Definition: undermine the power and authority of (an established system or institution).

Synonyms: destabilize, unsettle, overthrow, overturn

Antonyms: help, purify, improve.

Usage: an attempt to subvert democratic government

 

3). Hung (Verb) – लटकाना

Definition: undermine the power and authority of (an established system or institution).

4). Dictate (Verb) – हुकुम देना

Definition: state or order authoritatively.

Synonyms: give orders to, order about/around, boss (about/around), impose one’s will on, lord it over

Antonyms: request.

Usage: the tsar’s attempts to dictate policy

 

5). Riparian (Adjective) – नदी के तट पर

Definition: relating to or situated on the banks of a river.

6). Ambiguous (Adjective) – उभयभावी

Definition: not clear or decided.

Synonyms: equivocal, ambivalent, open to debate, open to argument, arguable, debatable

Antonyms: unambiguous, clear

7). Intervene (Verb) — हस्तक्षेप करना

Definition: take part in something so as to prevent or alter a result or course of events

10). Envisaged (Verb) – परिकल्पना की गयी

Definition: contemplate or conceive of as a possibility or a desirable future event.

Synonyms: foresee, predict, forecast, foretell, anticipate, expect, think likely, envision

Antonyms: disagree, ignore.

Usage: the Rome Treaty envisaged free movement across frontiers

Definition: put (something) into someone’s care or protection.

Synonyms: hand over, give custody of, make over, turn over, commit, assign, consign, deliver

Antonyms: deny, hold, keep, retain.

Usage: you persuade people to entrust their savings to you
