1) gimmick (noun)– नौटंकी

Meaning : a trick or device intended to attract attention, publicity, or trade.

Synonyms : publicity device, stunt, contrivance

Antonyms : frankness, honesty

Usage : “it is not so much a programme to improve services as a gimmick to gain votes”

 

2) shore up (verb)– टेक लगाना

Meaning : to support (something) or keep (something) from falling by placing something under or against it

3) spur (verb)– प्रोत्साहित करना
