1) Aloft (Adjective) — ऊपर की ओर

Definition: Up in or into the air; overhead.

Synonyms: Upwards, Up, High

Antonyms: Down

Usage: India’s heaviest satellite GSAT-11 is aloft in space from Kourou.

 

2) Meticulous (Adjective) – सावधानीपुर्वक

Definition: showing great attention to detail; very careful and precise.

Synonyms: Careful, Conscientious, Diligent, Ultra-careful, Scrupulous

Antonyms: Careless, Sloppy, Slapdash

Usage: A meticulous civil servant, he will assess the police findings and the recommendations of his own team.

 

3) Rigorous (Adjective) – बेहद सावधानी से या कठोर

Definition: Extremely thorough and careful.

Synonyms: Meticulous, Punctilious, Conscientious

Antonyms: Slapdash, Lax

Usage: The rigorous testing of consumer products.

 

4) Vicinity (Noun) — आस-पास की जगह

Definition: The area near or surrounding a particular place.

5) Purport (Verb) – दावा करना

Definition: Appear to be or do something, especially falsely.

6) Insinuation (Noun) — परोक्ष संकेत

Usage: Are you insinuating that I won by cheating?

 

7) Stringent (Adjective) – कठोर, कड़ी से कड़ी

Definition: (of regulations, requirements, or conditions) strict, precise, and exacting

Synonyms: Strict, Firm, Rigid, Rigorous, Severe

Antonyms: Lenient, Flexible

Usage: Stringent guidelines on air pollution

 

8) Calibrate (Verb) – मापित होना

Definition: Mark (a gauge or instrument) with a standard scale of readings.

Usage: the radiocarbon results would need to be calibrated to convert them to calendar ages.

Definition: Entirely lacking or free from.

Usage: The so-called comedy is totally devoid of intelligence, originality, and even laughs.
