1) rescinded (verb) रद्द कर देना

Meaning : revoke, cancel, or repeal (a law, order, or agreement).

Synonyms : revoke, repeal, cancel, reverse, abrogate

Antonyms : enforce, enact

Usage : “the government eventually rescinded the directive”

 

2) draconian (adjective) — बेरहम

Meaning : (of laws or their application) excessively harsh and severe.
