Nepal Releases New ₹100 Note Featuring Revised Map Claiming Three Indian Territories

Nepal issued new ₹100 currency notes featuring a revised map that includes Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura, territories India claims as its own.
The new note was released by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and bears the signature of former Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari with the issue date 2081 BS (2024).
The map was already present on the old ₹100 note and has now been revised as per the government’s decision.

Key Highlights :

Among denominations like ₹10, ₹50, ₹500, and ₹1,000, only the ₹100 note carries Nepal’s map.
Nepal’s move traces back to May 2020, when the K P Sharma Oli government unveiled a new political map showing the disputed regions as Nepal’s territory, later endorsed by Parliament.
India rejected Nepal’s claim, calling it a “unilateral act”, an “artificial enlargement”, and “untenable”, maintaining that Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura are Indian territories.
In 2024, when Nepal announced printing the revised ₹100 note, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced that the act would not change the reality on the ground and reiterated India–Nepal boundary talks continue through an established mechanism.
Design features of the new note include Everest on the left, a Rhododendron watermark, a faint green Nepal map, the Ashoka Pillar with “Lumbini – birthplace of Lord Buddha”, and on the reverse, a horned rhino, along with a security thread and embossed black dot for the visually impaired.
Nepal shares an 1850 km border with Indian states: Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

National Payments Corporation of India’s BHIM App Introduces Full Delegation Feature Under UPI Circle to Boost User Adoption

Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM), developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), launched a new Full Delegation feature under the UPI Circle to attract new users.
The feature allows a primary account holder to authorize up to five trusted individuals (family, dependents, staff) to make UPI payments directly from the primary user’s bank account.
It includes Primary Users (account holders) and Secondary Users (trusted individuals) designated by the primary user.
Secondary Users must have a BHIM UPI ID / VPA, even if they do not have a bank account.
The primary user can set a monthly spending limit of ₹15,000 and may also define a per-transaction limit.
Delegated users can make payments without using the primary user’s UPI PIN, while all transactions remain visible to the primary user.
The delegation period can be set between 1 month to 5 years by the primary user.
A primary user can link up to five secondary users, but each secondary user can be linked to only one primary account.
UPI Circle, launched in 2024, supports partial delegation (needs primary user approval) and full delegation (no approval needed).
UPI has 450+ million registered users and is operated by NPCI.
NPCI BHIM Services Ltd. (NBSL) was incorporated in 2024 as a wholly owned subsidiary of NPCI.

Reserve Bank of India Grants Certificate of Authorisation to Paytm Payments Services Limited to Operate as a Payment Aggregator under PSSA 2007

Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL), a subsidiary of One97 Communications, received the Certificate of Authorisation (COA) from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as a Payment Aggregator (PA) under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act (PSSA), 2007.
Certificate of Authorisation (COA) is a standard regulatory approval granted to most major fintech companies for operating as PAs.
The RBI had imposed restrictions in November 2022 on PPSL due to FDI compliance issues. PPSL later fulfilled the requirements and received in-principle approval in August 2025, leading to the final licence.
The RBI has lifted the restrictions imposed on November 25, 2022, enabling PPSL to onboard new merchants
With the COA, PPSL can now onboard new merchants, process digital payments, and expand its payment ecosystem.
Payment Aggregator (PA): A fintech service that allows merchants to accept digital payments without creating their own payment gateway or direct bank integration.

World Bank Sanctions USD 776 Million for Education Reform in Punjab and Climate-Resilient Agriculture in Maharashtra

The World Bank approved USD 776 million (around ₹6,467 crore) for two India projects—one to improve education in Punjab and another to support climate-resilient agriculture in Maharashtra.

Key Highlights :

The Punjab project, POISE (Punjab Outcomes-Acceleration in School Education Operation), received a USD 286 million loan with 19-year maturity and a 5-year grace period.
The POISE project aims to improve school education quality through technology-enabled monitoring, learning-outcome tracking, and strengthening SCERT and Assessment Cell
The project will build digital infrastructure, provide teacher training, and supply educational resources through state-level systems.
The Punjab initiative will benefit 59 lakh early-childhood students, 13 lakh primary students, and 22 lakh secondary students.
The Maharashtra project, POCRA Phase II (Maharashtra Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture), received USD 490 million with a 24-year maturity and 6-year grace period.
POCRA Phase II aims to enhance agricultural productivity and climate resilience using precision-farming technologies, AI, remote sensing, and improved soil, nutrient, and water management.
The Maharashtra project targets a 30% income increase for smallholder farmers and will benefit 20 lakh small and marginal farmers in 21 districts, including 2.9 lakh women farmers.
POCRA (Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjivani) was originally launched in 2018–2024 as a ₹4,000 crore joint initiative of Maharashtra government and World Bank, with Phase I covering 5,220 villages across 16 districts.

Punjab National Bank Unveils Digital Solution for PM SVANidhi Scheme Alongside New Product Launches

Punjab National Bank (PNB) launched a digital solution for the PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar NIDHI (PM SVANidhi) scheme, along with several other new products.
PM SVANidhi, implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, provides affordable working capital loans to street vendors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
PNB also introduced end-to-end digitisation of its staff accountability portal and rolled out a conduct risk framework for employees.
The new products were launched by Central Vigilance Commissioner Praveen Kumar Srivastava, in the presence of PNB MD & CEO Ashok Chandra, ED Bibhu Prasad Mahapatra, and CVO Raghvendra Kumar.

State Bank of India and SBI Payments Set to Modernise Core Banking Infrastructure Within Two Years

State Bank of India (SBI) and its subsidiary SBI Payments Services plan to complete the modernisation of their core banking infrastructure within two years.
SBI is upgrading hardware, shifting from Unix to Linux, externalising functions such as vendor and government payments, and adopting microservices for processes like inquiries and accounting.
The bank is developing its own private cloud infrastructure to improve scalability, regulatory compliance, and data security.
To foster innovation, SBI has set up a sandbox and innovation hub, providing access to nearly 300 APIs for fintechs to test and integrate their solutions with SBI’s systems.

Mahindra & Manulife Form 50:50 Joint Venture to Enter India’s Life Insurance Sector

Mahindra & Mahindra and Manulife announced a 50:50 joint venture (JV) to enter the Indian life insurance market, subject to regulatory approval.
The JV builds on their existing partnership in Mahindra Manulife Investment Management (started in 2020), with both partners committing up to ₹3,600 crore and investing ₹1,250 crore each in the first five years.
Both companies will jointly apply for an insurance licence, with Kotak Investment Banking advising Mahindra and AZB & Partners along with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP serving as legal counsels.
The new life insurer will leverage technology to deliver efficient, customer-centric solutions and will target rural, semi-urban, and urban segments, supporting India’s “Insurance for All by 2047”

‘Rythanna Meekosam’ Programme Launched by Andhra Pradesh Government

The Andhra Pradesh government launched a large-scale farmer-centric initiative titled ‘Rythanna Meekosam’ to provide long-term support under a Five-Point Formula.
The programme was inaugurated by Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu in Krishna district and will run from 24 to 29 November 2025, with workshops scheduled on 3 December 2025 at Farmer Service Centres.
The Five-Point Formula focuses on:
- Water Security
- Demand-Based Cultivation
- Agri-Tech Adoption
- Food Processing Expansion
- Comprehensive Government Backing
  These measures aim to modernise agriculture, enhance resilience, increase farm-level profitability, and alleviate financial stress on farmers.
The government has invested ₹1,000 crore over the last 18 months to aid farmers directly, particularly to strengthen agriculture against natural disasters along the state’s 1,100 km coastline. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership focuses on providing permanent solutions to agricultural challenges and mitigating market volatility.
The initiative promotes modern agricultural practices, including:
- Drone technology for pest control and precision spraying
- Farm mechanisation to reduce manual labour
- Agri-tech solutions at the grassroots level
  The aim is to increase productivity while reducing costs and physical strain.
The programme also strengthens market linkages through food processing units, enabling value addition and better access to domestic and international markets. Price protection is ensured through government procurement of crops like tobacco, mango, onion, and coconut.
Under the Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Annadata Sukhibhava scheme, the state has disbursed over ₹3,200 crore to more than 68 lakh farmers, supporting rural livelihoods.

Union Cabinet Approves Pune Metro Rail Project Phase-2

The Union Cabinet has approved Phase-2 of the Pune Metro Rail Project, covering Line 4 (Kharadi–Hadapsar–Swargate–Khadakwasla) and Line 4A (Nal Stop–Warje–Manik Baug).
The total length of Phase-2 will be 31.636 km, fully elevated, with 28 metro stations.

Key Highlights

The project cost is ₹9,857.85 crore, and it will be implemented by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) with joint funding from the Government of India, Government of Maharashtra, and international financial agencies.
The project is expected to be completed within five years.
Line 4 will connect key commercial, IT, industrial, and residential hubs including Kharadi IT Park, Hadapsar industrial area, Swargate, and Khadakwasla.
Line 4A will provide connectivity from Nal Stop to Warje and Manik Baug, improving accessibility to newly developing urban zones.
The project is aligned with Pune’s Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) and aims to reduce road congestion along major stretches such as Sinhagad Road, Magarpatta Road, Solapur Road, and the Mumbai–Bengaluru Highway.
The metro system will use driverless train technology supported by Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) for improved punctuality and safety.
Ridership projections demonstrate increasing demand:

The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) was held in New Delhi with the theme ‘Ek Bharat: Shreshtha Bharat’, highlighting the cultural identity and craftsmanship of India’s tribal communities.
More than 705 tribal communities participated, showcasing paintings, textiles, handicrafts, and traditional metalwork.
The fair aimed to strengthen market access for tribal artisans and ensure the preservation of traditional art forms.
The event was supported by the Government of India, state bodies, and organisations promoting tribal products.
The tribal population of India constitutes 8.6% of the total population and contributes significantly to cultural heritage.
The government agency TRIFED (Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs played a key role through initiatives focused on:

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation Constitutes Panel for Cadre Restructuring

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has formed a four-member committee to restructure its internal workforce and improve public service delivery.
The initiative aims to strengthen operational efficiency and enhance customer support for over 27 crore EPF members across India.
The main objectives of the committee include:
- Evaluation of the existing workforce structure to identify inefficiencies.
- Recommendations to streamline workflows and minimize delays.
- Improvement of service delivery systems for EPFO subscribers.
- Framework creation for reassignment and role allocation of staff and officers.
- Proposals for restructuring aligned with digital transformation, including Artificial Intelligence-based grievance handling and expanded coverage for gig and unorganised workers.
The committee will be headed by B. P. Sharma, a former senior bureaucrat known for administrative reform experience in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Timeline:
- The committee is required to submit its final report by 31 March 2026.

Prime Minister Inaugurates India’s First Global Aircraft Engine MRO Facility in Hyderabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India’s first global-level aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Hyderabad, developed by Safran Aircraft Engines, France.
The facility, named Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI), has been set up with an investment of ₹1,300 crore at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park – Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
SAESI will service LEAP aircraft engines, which power major aircraft models including the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX. This is the first time a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) has established deep-level engine servicing in India.
By 2035, the facility is expected to:
- Handle up to 300 engine overhauls per year
- Provide employment to over 1,000 skilled engineers and technicians
This development is expected to reduce India’s dependence on foreign MRO hubs, lowering costs, turnaround time, and foreign exchange outflow.
India has now emerged as the third-largest domestic aviation market globally after the United States and China, and Indian airlines have placed orders for over 1,500 aircraft to meet growing air travel demand.
Business-friendly reforms helping attract such investments include:
- 100% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in most sectors through the automatic route
- 74% FDI permitted in the defence sector
- Implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and MRO Guidelines 2021
- Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes
- Launch of the National Single Window System
- Reduction of more than 40,000 compliance requirements
- Introduction of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and faceless tax systems
The project will create a significant number of jobs for youth, and Safran is expected to collaborate with educational institutions for global-standard aerospace training and technology transfer.
Currently, nearly 85% of India’s MRO work is carried out overseas.
The SAESI facility is expected to serve as the foundation of a wider MRO ecosystem in India, connecting OEMs, suppliers, repair centres, and skill institutes, advancing India’s ambition to become a global aviation hub.

Union Cabinet Approves ₹7,280 Crore Scheme for Domestic Manufacturing of Rare Earth Permanent Magnets

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, has approved a ₹7,280 crore scheme to promote domestic manufacturing of Sintered Rare Earth Permanent Magnets (REPMs).
This is India’s first-ever initiative to establish an integrated REPM manufacturing ecosystem, aimed at reducing import dependence, strengthening high-tech sectors, and supporting India’s Net Zero 2070 commitment.
Rare Earth Permanent Magnets (REPMs) are among the strongest permanent magnets globally and are widely used in:
- Electric Vehicles (EVs)
- Wind turbines and renewable energy systems
- Aerospace and defence equipment
- Industrial automation
- Consumer electronics
India currently imports almost all of its REPM requirements from countries such as China, making this scheme crucial for industrial self-reliance.
The scheme aims to create a manufacturing capacity of 6,000 Metric Tons Per Annum (MTPA). The value chain will include:
- Conversion of rare earth oxides to metals
- Conversion of metals to high-performance alloys
- Production of finished sintered rare earth permanent magnets
The ₹7,280 crore financial structure includes:
- ₹6,450 crore as sales-linked incentives over five years
- ₹750 crore as capital subsidy for setting up facilities
Beneficiary selection will be done through a global competitive bidding process, with a maximum allocation of 1,200 MTPA capacity per company. A total of five beneficiaries will be selected.
The scheme duration is seven years, including:
- Two-year gestation period for infrastructure setup
- Five years of incentive disbursement, linked to actual REPM sales
The initiative supports the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan by eliminating import dependence for critical technologies used in EVs, defence, drones, renewable energy, and electronics.
The scheme will strengthen several strategic and high-growth sectors, including:
- Electric mobility
- Defence and aerospace
- Renewable energy
- Consumer electronics
By creating a domestic supply chain for REPMs, the scheme is expected to enhance technological capability, improve supply chain resilience, and accelerate India’s transition towards advanced industrial manufacturing.

Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs Approves ₹2,781 Crore Railway Multitracking Projects

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has approved two railway multitracking projects worth ₹2,781 crore in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
The projects will expand the railway network by approximately 224 kilometres, benefiting more than 32 lakh people across 4 districts and 585 villages, and will enhance both passenger services and freight movement capacity.
The first project approved is the Devbhumi Dwarka (Okha) – Kanalus Doubling Project in Gujarat, covering 141 kilometres.
This project is expected to improve access to the Dwarkadhish Temple, enhance connectivity in the Saurashtra region, support tourism and regional development, and strengthen freight movement, particularly for bulk commodities.
The second project is the Badlapur – Karjat Third and Fourth Railway Line Project in Maharashtra, covering 32 kilometres under the Mumbai suburban railway network.
The project will reduce congestion in one of India’s busiest railway corridors, improve suburban rail frequency and reliability, and strengthen rail connectivity towards Southern India via Karjat.
Both projects are aligned with the Pradhan Mantri (PM) Gati Shakti National Master Plan, which focuses on integrated infrastructure planning, seamless multimodal connectivity, logistics efficiency, and improved coordination among multiple stakeholders.

The India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF) 2025, the fifth edition of India’s national multi-stakeholder internet policy platform, will be held in New Delhi.
The theme for 2025 is “Advancing Internet Governance for an Inclusive and Sustainable Viksit Bharat.”

Digital Connexion Announces $11 Billion AI Data Centre Campus in Visakhapatnam

Digital Connexion (a joint venture of Brookfield, Reliance Industries, and Digital Realty) announced a $11 billion investment to set up a 1-gigawatt (GW) AI-native data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The project will be spread across 400 acres and is expected to be completed by 2030, making it one of India’s largest digital infrastructure developments.
The announcement was made during the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit 2025 in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh, and Reliance Executive Director P. M. S. Prasad.
The data campus will support advanced artificial intelligence workloads, using Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), and other AI processors.
The development follows Google’s recent announcement of a $15 billion AI data centre campus in Visakhapatnam in partnership with AdaniConneX and Airtel, positioning the city as a major emerging digital hub.
Visakhapatnam was selected due to its strong advantages such as low-latency digital connectivity, subsea cable access, availability of clean energy, and strategic coastal location.
Digital Connexion currently operates a data centre in Chennai and is constructing another facility in Mumbai’s Chandivali. The Visakhapatnam campus will be its largest facility in India, focused on:

Ministry of Defence Signs Letters of Offer and Acceptance With the United States for ₹7,995 Crore Sustainment Support of Indian Navy’s MH-60R Helicopters

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) with the United States for sustainment support of the Indian Navy’s MH-60R helicopters.
The LOAs were signed under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme in New Delhi on 28 November 2025, in the presence of Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh.
The agreement provides Follow-on Support and Follow-on Supply Support for five years, valued at approximately ₹7,995 crore.
Sustainment Support includes spares, support equipment, product support, training, technical support, and repair & replenishment of components.
The package will also set up Intermediate-level component repair and Periodic Maintenance Inspection (PMI) facilities in India.

Paras Defence inks Defence Research and Development Organization Technology Transfer pact to manufacture Driver Night Sight system for T-90 tanks

Paras Defence & Space Technologies signed a Technology Transfer (ToT) agreement with Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence (MoD), for manufacturing the Driver Night Sight (DNS) system for T-90 tanks.
The DNS system is an electro-optical night-vision system developed by DRDO, enabling tank drivers to operate in night, low-light, or low-visibility conditions without external lights.
Key features of the DNS include thermal imaging, a day camera, fused imaging capability, and a wide field of view, all designed to fit existing T-90 tanks without major modifications.
Under the ToT, DRDO provides design, know-how, and manufacturing technology, making Paras Defence an authorised manufacturer of the DNS system in India.
The agreement enables Paras Defence to supply DNS systems for T-90 tank upgrades to the Indian Army (IA).
The move supports the Government’s Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives aimed at strengthening defence indigenisation.
Paras Defence operates across four segments: defence & space optics, defence electronics, heavy engineering, and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection solutions.

India Deploys INS Vikrant & INS Udaygiri for Sri Lanka’s International Fleet Review 2025 in Colombo

India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant and the indigenously built frigate INS Udaygiri are representing the Indian Navy at the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 27–29 November 2025.
The IFR 2025 is part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s 75th anniversary and includes naval ships, delegations, and observers from multiple countries.
This marks the maiden overseas deployment of both INS Vikrant and INS Udaygiri, highlighting India’s focus on regional maritime cooperation.
The participation of INS Vikrant, India’s Nation’s Pride, emphasises India’s commitment to peace, stability, and security in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) through enhanced collaboration and interoperability.
The deployment of INS Udaygiri showcases India’s advancing indigenous shipbuilding capabilities and its expanding naval presence in the IOR.
During the Colombo visit, the ships will join the ceremonial fleet review, city parade, community outreach events, and professional naval exchanges.

Competition Commission of India Clears Toyota Asset Preparatory Co.’s 100% Acquisition of Toyota Industries Corporation

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the acquisition of 100% shareholding of Toyota Industries Corporation (TIC) by Toyota Asset Preparatory Co., Ltd. as part of a corporate restructuring and consolidation within the Toyota Group.
The Acquirer, Toyota Asset Preparatory Co., Ltd., is an investment vehicle created solely for this restructuring and has no business operations in India or globally.
After the transaction, the Acquirer will be held ~99% by Toyota Fudosan Co., Ltd. (TFC), aligning with the group’s long-term structural consolidation plans.
The Target company, TIC, operates in India in material handling equipment, manufacture and sales of engines and transmission parts, textile machinery, and automated logistics solutions.
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), a major Toyota Group entity, continues to be engaged in automobile manufacturing and sales and automotive components production in India.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the acquisition of 100% shareholding of Jhajjar Power Limited by Jindal Jhajjar Power Limited.
The Proposed Combination involves the complete takeover of the Target (Jhajjar Power Limited) by the Acquirer (Jindal Jhajjar Power Limited).
The Acquirer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jindal Power Limited (JPL), which is engaged in power production, including thermal power.
The Target company, Jhajjar Power Limited, is also engaged in thermal power generation.

Competition Commission of India clears ICICI Prudential AMC’s acquisition of select businesses of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the acquisition of select businesses of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Ltd (Seller) by ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) Ltd (Acquirer).
The move follows a May 2025 board decision to transfer ICICI Venture’s private equity, real-estate & fund-management operations to ICICI Prudential AMC for consolidation under one entity.
ICICI Prudential AMC, a JV between ICICI Bank Ltd and Prudential Corporation Holdings Ltd, manages Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs and offers investment advisory services to offshore clients.
The Target Businesses include Investment Management Business handling five SEBI-registered AIFs, and an Advisory Business giving non-exclusive, non-binding investment advice to an offshore Private Equity (PE) fund.
The acquisition strengthens ICICI Prudential AMC’s asset management & advisory operations, enhancing its position in the financial services sector.

Indian Space Research Organisation to Launch US Communication Satellite Using LVM3 on Commercial Basis in December 2025

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch a US communication satellite in December 2025 using the LVM3 (Launch Vehicle Mark-III) on a commercial basis.
The mission is a purely commercial launch involving an American satellite, with no bilateral collaboration between the two countries.
India currently has 57 satellites in orbit, and this number is expected to triple in the next three years to strengthen national services.
India’s space programme, which began in the “cycle era,” is projected to be on par with leading spacefaring nations by 2040 in terms of launches, satellites, communication, applications, and capabilities.

Ten-Year-Old Bodhana Sivanandan Shines at UK Women’s Blitz Championship

Bodhana Sivanandan, aged ten, from Harrow, north‑west London, won eight consecutive games at the UK Women’s Blitz Championship held in Royal Leamington Spa, defeating experienced adult players.
Her performance has earned her a spot among the top 50 women in the world for blitz chess.
Earlier in 2025, she became the youngest person ever to earn the Woman International Master (WIM) title, the second-highest rank in women’s chess.
At age nine, she became the youngest individual to represent England internationally in any sport.
Bodhana aspires to become the youngest Grandmaster in history, a record currently held by a 12-year-old.
Chess experts describe her as a “generational talent”, with exceptional skill and maturity for her age. Bodhana states: “I don’t mind who I compete against, I only care about the game.”
Her achievements extend beyond chess, supporting development in mathematics, art, and music at school.
