The prelims phase was conducted on 14th and 15th February 2020 and the mains was scheduled to happen in March. But, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the mains exam is postponed.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2020

A candidate is said to be eligible to apply for the RBI assistant exam when he/she follows the following conditions:

  1. AGE: The age of an applicant must lie in between the range of 20 to 28 years.
          Minimum: 20 years
          Maximum: 28 years

The age calculation is to be done keeping in mind 1st Dec 2019 as the reference year.
Age relaxation is also applicable to the candidates of the reserved category. The age relaxation information is given below in a tabular format:

RBI Assistant Eligibility- Nationality: A Candidate applying for RBI Assistant must be a citizen of India.

3. RBI Assistant Eligibility-Educational Qualification: A graduation degree from a recognized university or institute approved by the govt. of India is a must. The minimum marks obtained during the graduation should be 50%. And the applicant should have a basic working knowledge of computers.

4. RBI Assistant Eligibility-Proficiency in Official Language: Candidate must be proficient in the official language of the state mentioned in the application form. The authorized language mentioned in the notification for all the states is given below:
