Explanations

Direction (1-5)

G is 3rd tallest and youngest in the group. It means G is 3rd from the left end and 18 years old.

Person G
Age 18
Height 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

E is 2nd to the left of H. E is not neighbor of G. So H is either 7th tallest or 8th tallest. H is taller to F but shorter to C. It means H cannot be shortest So H is 2nd shortest and F is shortest and the one who is shortest in the group is 30 years old then F is 30 years old.

Person G E H F
Age 18 30
Height 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Only one person is taller to B. So B is at 2nd tallest. Two persons are sitting between A and D. D is taller to A but not neighbor of G. It means D is left of A because D is taller to A. Then D must be tallest and A is immediate right of G. Now C is 3rd shortest.

Person D B G A E C H F
Age 18 30
Height 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Only two persons are elder to A. So A is 34 years old. The difference of age between A and C is 8 years. So C is 26 years old. The number of persons is sitting between C and the one who is 25 years old is same as E and the one who is 40 years old. . H is not the eldest person. It means D is 40 years old and B is 25 years old. H is elder to A so H is 37 years old and E is 23 years old.

Here is the final arrangement:

Person D B G A E C H F
Age 40 25 18 34 23 26 37 30
Height 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Direction (6-10)

In each step, one word and one number is arranged.

Words are arranging according to their last letter in increasing order according to alphabetical series. Then this pattern will continue.

e.g. Official= “l” is the smallest letter in alphabetical series so that word will be at the left end.

Numbers are arranging smallest to largest number at the right end.

E.g. = “10” is smallest then “1” is add to the end of that number so “101”

“17” is 2nd smallest then “2” is add to the end of that number so “172”.
