The IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2021 consists of 3 stages namely

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam:

The Prelims exam is the initial stage for the selection procedure of IBPS Clerk. The preliminary examination is conducted to select candidates for the main exam. The marks obtained in the prelims examination will not be considered for the final selection. The details of the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam pattern are given here in the table below:

  • It is an objective-type paper that is conducted in online mode.

  • Candidates need to complete each section within the above-mentioned time frame to clear the selection procedure of IBPS Clerk.

The candidates who cleared the preliminary exam are eligible for the main exam. The main examination is the actual selection stage in the selection procedure of IBPS Clerk. IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2021: Language Proficiency Test

  • Candidates will undergo a Language Proficiency Test(LPT), where the participating organizations will verify the proficiency of candidates in the local language of the concerned state or union territory, i.e. the candidates should be able to read, write as well as speak the concerned local language.
  • Under this test, the candidates may be asked to write down a passage or asked a few questions in the local language.
  • The board can also cancel the candidature of the candidates who fail to qualify LPT.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2021: Document Verification

Document verification is the final stage of the IBPS Clerk selection process. The candidates who cleared the mains exam will be called for the Document Verification process. After the successful completion of the document verification candidates will join the banks that they have been allotted to for training. All the data submitted while filling up the application form is verified in this stage. Given below is a list of important documents that the candidates must carry for this stage:
